A chaozhu made of pierced and enameled silver or silver plated metal filigree beads. 90 small beads with crane design between three large "Buddha's head" beads. Three strings each with 10 dark beads ending in a teardrop bead. The tape which hung down the back with an oblong plaque between a double gourd and a teardrop bead. Dimension: 112 cm long. Weight: 174 gram. Condition: traces of usage: several beads with enamel loss, perhaps some beads missing.

Cracle ware bowl, this is the famous "iron wire and golden thread" effect. Glazed base. Qing Dynasty : 19th Century Diameter 19 cm. Condition : very good with no chips, cracks or restorations, fault firing on the base.

Large celadon bowl decorated with floral scroll on the body and key fret scroll to rim and foot rim, and flower on the center. W = 22.5 cm, H=10.5 cm. Qianlong 1736-1795. Condition : very good with minor frit on the rim.

The finest and rare one of Mingyao b/w bowl was ever found in Indonesia area. The exterior of this bowl is decorated with scrolling cloverleaf design. The interior center with lotus panels to be a form of medallion within double circle and dots, the wall cavetto with ruyi scrolls filled with emblem mark, diaper pattern to the mouth rim. The shape and decoration of the bowl is identical to a Yongle example, thus making it an obvious emulation of Yongle (enlargement 12)...

A nice and rare Cafe-Au Lait ground bowl, decorated outside with vividly gilt painted of four peony medallions among four lucky bats supporting each by chrysanthemum blossom, inside is plain and with gilt finished to rim. Base with Qianlong seal mark in underglazed-blue and possibly of the period. Condition with a hairline, further in perfect condition. Diameter: 17.7cm and High: 8cm.

A rectangular silver box rich in high relief of dancers in costume. The detailing of the human forms and the patterning on their costumes is finely done. The background of the dancers is done in open-work silver of a pattern of swirling leaves and tendrils. At the bottom of the box is a large hand-hammered mythical Asian chimera (Makara)...

A Chinese man would have worn this egg shaped wooden tobacco container hanging from his belt. Both front and back are decorated with metal studs and fitting attached with copper nails. The lid is hinged and held in place by a decorative pin which is pulled up to open.

An extremely rare form of b/w jar, finely potted in square lobed shape, decorated to each panel with a flower medallion among single cloud scroll to each corner. On the top side has a nice collaborate between ruyi and pomegranate pattern. Ming dynasty Zhengde period (1506-1521), this kind painted style motif also found many similar pattern in vessels to the case of ordered pieces from early 16th century by Portuguese market...

Description: A white-glazed tea caddy was rarely found with an original cap. Preserved in a very good condition, the capped jar was in plain form without any decoration. Firing effect was obviously revealed in the body clay. It is a fine piece for the storage of some fine tea or a decent vase-like jar on the shelf too. Rare and Lovely "Yue Mise" lobed bowl with nice green glaze covered.flat and glazed base with spur marks.Tang- Five dynasty period.Very good conditions. A pimpled toad looks to the sky exhaling a clouded spirit, a truly superb version of this theme in deep caramel bronze dating from the Meiji period. It is an interesting theme, the ugly creature elevated to the status of saint. Judging by color and quality, we attribute this as the work of Kanaya Gorosaburo (1836-1890), a bronze artist of Kyoto fond of this color and known for his superb modeling and detail. Not always signed, Gorosabutro was often known to sign only the box...

A white jade of two frolicking animals "kissing" muzzle-to-muzzle. The smaller animal has a little curly tail while the larger one has a long tail going up against its back with a curl at the tip. The style in which their legs are carved gives this piece a feeling of playful activity. Can be worn as a pendant. An antique cast bronze waniguchi bell or gong, the type used to hang in front of places of prayer and under temple eaves dated 1710. Often these can be found hanging over saisen-bako where the bell is rung by clanging a dangling rope with wooden corbel against the bell to awaken the gods; coins are tossed and a prayer given. Anyone who has been to a Japanese Temple or Shrine may have noticed one. A much thinner cast than the later bell we are offering

A rare, large and beautifully carved scholar's item made of huanghuali and carved with flower vases and a censer as the center piece, with the original hardware.The outer frame could be huanghuali or huali.
