A pottery whistle in the form of an unusual face with its lips puckered as if whistling. The top of the whistle has green and brown glazes (sansai glaze) - the bottom is unglazed. The glaze has a very fine crackle. Under magnification, tiny pits can be seen on the fine crackle, which is consistent with the appearance of glazes for pieces of this period.

Preserving with fine greasy patina on the surface, the brush-licker was kept in a very good condition except some old abrasions and some original stone defects.

A 17th century dorje (thunderbolt of enlightenment) Buddhist ritual object of a dark color with some green encrustation. Some dorjes at that time were made from meteorites found in the Himalayas. Vajradhara or Dorje Chang in Tibetan is the ultimate primordial Buddha or Adi Buddha according to the Gelug and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism. A handled bronze censer was in good shape and had preserved with very fine crabshell-green tint on the surface.
By enduring old patina, the metal ware was well proportioned in shallow form and was stand on the slightly everted foot ring.
Clearly defined inscription-Da Ming Xuan De Nien Zhi was cast and carved at the bottom underside. A blurred ink print was at the bottom too. It was undecipherable.
