A finely large 'Guan' jar with thickly and well balance potted, decorated to the upper part with lobed sides and incised flower scrolls, bottom surrounded by lotus petals rising from foot rim. Covered overall with a good olive green glaze and flawlessly as well. Yuan dynasty 14th century Longquan ware. Condition is excellent, just unfortunately the lid has been missing. High: 21.4cm, Mouth diameter: 24cm, Foot rim: 20cm and Wide maximum body: 30.3cm.
Deep rounded form with steeps side and slight indentation belom the everted rim, covered in lustrous caramel-brown glaze streaked with black element emanating from the central flattened base of the interior, the glaze thinning to a dark brown colour at the upper end, the exterior similarly decorated the glaze falling short of the foort with sumptuous globules dripping over the body burnt a brown in the firing.

This flap style hat was commonly used by the men in the cold winters of Northern China, formerly Manchuria, now considered Heilungjiang Province. Padded and lined with silk velvet fabric on the inside and covered with silk satin fabric on the outside, the different layers were quilted together with a decorative floral pattern.

This saddle has ornate silver and cloisonne detailing. The basic wood saddle tree is covered with leather and the edges are rimmed with strips of silver metal with colorful floral enameling. Addition large flat buttons of silver and cloisonne are sewn to the leg flaps and are also used on the saddle seat to keep the original Tibetan rug saddle pad in place.

By a mold image of Shakyamuni Buddha who in the earth-witness gesture on the front, gold pigment was applied including the drapery throne when faded red and darken purplish pigment were left to the background. Clear reticulate grains were on the back side. Date: 18th century, Tibet. Height: 8.2cm, Depth: 1.6cm(base).

This Chinese pipe is from the Miao Ethnic Minority group in the vicinity of Rong Jiang. My Miao friends insist that this pipe would have been used for smoking tobacco and not opium. Made from silver alloy, the stem design has the two dragons chasing the center pearl.
The pipe is in very good condition and is 19" long and it comes with its own custom made stand.

Being rendered by excellent carving skill, the lion was in fierce look by bulge eyes, bared teeth and tongue.
Even though excavated with imperfections, the lion was still momentum by his strenuous muscle, the strong limbs and the flouring manes.
Bing preserved with original condition from excavation, the lion was perfectly fit to a custom-made brass base which was desighed and hammered by a modern metal artist...
