Description: A handsome Cizhou censer in tripod shape was in quite good look. Flat rim was supported by dented neck which with straight wall. And after that is the bulge belly which was applied on the surface with typical glittering black slip and where the astonishing russet mottles were decorated on. The feet were unglazed and revealed with obvious light brownish tint caused by firing. Hand-craft characteristics of the everted style and the finger imprints were joyfully observed at the feet...

Large Chinese porcelain jardiniere or fish bowl with wide mouth and flattened rim decorated with gilt crabs and fish swimming among aquatic plants on a powder blue ground. Unglazed foot and base. Qing dynasty (late 19th century). 12 ¼”H x 14 ¼” diameter. Weighs about 18 lbs. Very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. Some soiling to the interior from use and typical wear to the gilt decoration. This piece was purchased from an Arizona collection.

This is an original old Chinese poster of two women (actually men disguised as women) advertising cigarettes. Very early poster women were not allowed to pose for these posters. Original posters are almost impossible to find. I had acquired these posters many years ago in Beijing and forgot I had the. Just discovered them recently. Age: 1920s. Size: 76cm x 51cm. Condition: Some fraying around the edges and minor rips from age.

Description:

A pair of Jizhou jars was intriguingly molded in imitation of two woven bamboo boxes.
By typical characteristics of sticking-rice-like body clay which revealed at the lower portion of the boxes and the flat foot rings, the ware’s glaze was kept in very good condition.
On the surface, clear and crispy patterns were beautifully defined. Hand-crafted knobs were skillfully added on the top of the caps.
Some adhesives were preserved on the surface for authentication...

This is a charming lobed shaped tea-pot standing on four small individual feet. On one side it has a painting of a pair of sparrow in a blooming lotus pond. On the other side, it has a poem written on it. Circa. early Chinese Republic period 1940s-1950s.

No hairline crack, glaze fritting, damage, repair or restoration. The tea-pot is in good condition.

The dimension of the tea-pot: The height is 11.7cm, the length is 22cm and the width is 10cm.

Description: A northern stoneware was intriguingly applied with russet oil-spots glaze. In a lovely size, the bowl was molded regularly in well proportion. While with a charming glaze effects on the inner and outer surface, the bowl’s foot ring was unglazed and was revealed with the meticulously applied protection coating on the body clay. Chinese late Qing to early Republic period ceramic modeled container shaped like a "ha ma," or toad, with a hollow body and flat base covered in a monochrome pearl glaze with a seeded finish. Measures about 10 ½”L x 9 ¼”W x 6”H. There are some old surface cracks visible. The back section appears to have been restored and the gray areas in the pearl glaze appear to be old restorations which were executed in China...

A nicely carved mythical beast or cute animal in the recumbent position. There is a hole through the mouth for hanging. As for the age, I will date it as a Song piece, but it could also be from the Southern & Northern Dynasties. It is hard to date jade as many Dynasties copied from past dynasties. Size: L. 5cm. W. 2cm. H. 2cm. Condition: No chips or repairs.
