A Yueyao water basin was in form of a squat turtle.
Well applied with characteristic greenish celadon glaze on the surface, the basin was sit on the flat bottom which was un-glazed and was revealed with the grayish-tinted body clay.
It was preserved in perfect condition and was well cleaned by ex-collecter intended for practical use.
Minute old frets and incursions were found on the glaze when slight crackles were rendered...
Description: A triad of brown glazed figurines (two officials and one servant) were preserved in good condition except one minor fret on one of the doll's shoulder. Very amusing pieces indeed. Height: 5.7cm, 5.5cm, 5.4cm.

Description: A big Qingbai bowl was elegantly carved with motifs of dancing boys amid scrolled cloud. Believed as being a product from famed Hutien kiln of Jiangxi province of 9-12th century, the bowl was in pale blue tint and was in very good condition except one faint hairline at the cavetto(about 6.5cm that in half way to the cavetto). Description: An ancient inkstone was from Song dynasty. By a typical sleek shape, the inkstone was carved in a simple and plain form. The obvious carving scars can be easily observed. After enduring thousands of years of burial in a tomb chamber, the surface of the stone piece was oxidized into a grayish patina when rust mottles were yielded too. A Jianyang Temmoko tea bowl was decorated in the cavetto with rarely-seen russet markings.
Despite the characteristic and beautiful hares-fur or oil-spots markings we've usually seen in Jianyang bowls, radiating russet markings can be a very rare type.
For this bowl, the splashed strips were all lined-up and without intermittent.
That makes the motifs in vibrant form...
Chinese Yuan Dynasty Russet Glazed Jar (AD 1279 - 1368)
This small and "heavily-potted" jar was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Both inner and outer surfaces are coated in a thick russet-coloured glaze that has an almost "silvery" sheen to it.

Rare Chinese Yuan Dynasty Burnished Black Pottery Bowl
We have recently been lucky enough to have acquired a collection of very rare examples of burnished black pottery items made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Such items are relatively unknown and very little has been published about them. They are found in the northern provinces, particularly Gansu province in the north-west.
This bowl is fairly thinly-potted and has a flared rim and quite a sturdy foot. Diameter 12.25 cm...

Description: A Cizhou porcelain dog was handcrafted by the rural potter. Intriguingly molded in a simple form and adorned with iron mottles on the surface, the dog stands on his feet in a cute way. Probably a toy piece for the children of the tribes people, this small dog still can be a joyful addition in your collecting fantasy. Obvious crackles were yielded due to age. Description: An Archaic bronze seal with a casting knob of a couple (means harmony) was from Song dynasty. The meaningful knob was accompanied with the joyful inscription of A rabbit motif. A scholar item was probably used in Chinese studio for making stamp inscription on a script of poem or a beautiful painting.

A yellow-glazed censer was in archaic Ding shape.
Being applied on the surface with drum-nails and archaic ram masks for decoration, the pottery censer was stand by three squeezed lion's feet.
The tint of the glaze was in beige yellow when the body clay revealed inside the censer was in beige grayish.
It was in perfect condition with minute frets and crackles which also verified it's old age.

Description:
A brown-glazed Yuhuchun vase was in elegant form.
Well mold and being carved on the surface with affluent floral motifs, the vase was preserved in a perfect condition when enduring old crackles were spread immensely under the glaze.
Slight incursions were caused to the glaze and revealed by whitish tint.
Date: Yuan Dynasty,13th/14th century.
Provenance: Yaozhou kiln.
