Description: A Zitan cup was well carved from one solid wood trunk.
Being decorated on two handles in bamboo form, the Zitan cup was well hollowed in a round shape and was in a plain form.
By excellent carving skill, the bamboo stalks were vividly imitated and being as good handles.
It was preserved in long time of age and already owned the enduring old purplish-black patina.
Overall condition was great when some old cracks were observed.
Some abrasions were at the bottom too.

Description: A rectangular brush-licker was made from a multi-colored pudding stone.
Preserving with fine greasy patina on the surface, the brush-licker was kept in a very good condition except some old abrasions and some original stone defects.
Brush-licker was used for adjusting brush wet when scholars were practicing calligraphy or Chinese brush painting.
In usually-seen flat and simple form, the artistry will always come out of the original beauty of the material itself.
