This vase is very unusual in form and decoration. Of tripart form, three elongated egg form vases (with everted rims on one end) are joined together in the kiln as a single, large complex vessel - the rounded (and glazed) bottoms unable to hold only one of the vases upright but stable when together forming three feet. Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 6.5". This is an example of "Naruko-kei" tradition of Miyagi Prefecture. The artisan is Oonuma Hideo, who was born on february 17th, 1930 (Showa 5.) Recent excavated from Borneo site Longquan celadon large dish, decorated at interior with twin fish in the center and incised scrolls motif to cavetto wall. Underside rim area with unusual single fish, it's very rare example of Song-Yuan large dish with this kind motif. Unfortunately damaged without missing pieces and amateur glue repaired, but the glaze is still very fine covered with slight deep banana leaf green glaze. Diameter: 37cm.

Thai Sawankhalok round form covered stoneware footed box in the shape of a mangosteen fruit decorated in iron-black/brown glaze on a buff-colored ground with alternating panels of geometric designs and flowers. Rare Chinese Cast Iron Feng Shui Disc - Ming Dynasty or earlier

A good and beautifully one of Ming dynasty 15th-16th century Longquan celadon charger was ever found in South-Sulawesi area. Decorated to interior with a moulded flower in the center and fluted sides to cavetto. Underside is plain and covered overall with olive green with bring a bit bluish tint.
