A set of Nesting Shino Sake Cups with Dice. They are stamped on the base, and come in three sizes, the accompanying dice imprinted with the various sizes on each side, so a roll of the dice decides your fate in the drinking game. Very unusual and in excellent condition, they are (stacked) 2 x 2 x 1-1/4 inches (5 x 5 x 3 cm).

This ancient conch shell bead from the Pyu period and dates back to around the first century. It represents the emblem of the voice of Buddha preaching the laws of his doctrine, and occurs as one of the auspicious signs on the "Footprint of Buddha". Size: L. 2.2cm. Condition: No repairs. With two erected loops, the censer was well decorated on the surface with carved floral pattern.
For verification, the body clay was in dense-feel quality which was the very characteristic for Dingyao wares.

Accordingly of the names, the jar was believed a custom-made ware by noble people.

A spectacular set of bira-bira-kanzashi hair pins in the form of cranes among blossoming plum and pine formed of silver which come enclosed in a custom made silk-lined wooden box. Two are 13 inches (33 cm) long, the other is 9 inches (23 cm) long and all are in fine condition. According to a label inside the box they are from Akita City in Northern Japan, sold by Takeyaso Hon-ten. The box is 15 x 17 x 5 inches (38 x 43 x 13 cm). This toddler's pants were used by successive siblings and probably several generations of Chinese Miao ethnic minority children.
