Daikoku
is variously considered to be the god of wealth, or of the household, particularly the kitchen. He is recognised by his wide face, smile, and a flat black hat. He is often portrayed holding a golden mallet called a Uchide Nokozuchi, otherwise known as a magic money mallet, and is seen seated on bales of rice, with mice nearby (mice signify plentiful food).

An ancient Han pot was found from excavation.
Dated affirmatively as a piece from 1800 years ago, the pot was applied with unusually-seen brown glaze and was molded with a wide mouth which in flat rim with wall.
Characteristically decorated with Taotie mask on both side of the ovoid belly, the outer surface was separated in three sections by two bands of paralleled lines...
Ewer shaped a tall, long and narrow neck which flares to the mouth, high handle and a spout curving out from the shoulder, and tall straight foot. Decorated with incised vertical line on the body and horizontal line on the neck.. Glazed base. Yuan Dynasty 14th Century. High = 21 cm. Condition : Excellent, missing a loop on the handle, no chips, hairlines, cracks and free from restorations.

Fierce looking old Samurai ningyo (Japanese doll) in rare museum quality. His
head is carved wood and the face resembles kabuki actors or Jyoruri
ningyo (18th to 19th century puppet theater dolls) from the Edo period
(1603-1868). It is definitely a work of art.
The Suoh, the outfit that the doll is wearing, was worn by different
ranking samurais at various periods in history. The fabric is made out of
Asa (Japanese hemp) and the rest is silk...

The Kiseruzutsu (pipe case) is delicately engrave with a goose and grass, bone ring to the top. The clasp to the leather pouch shows a tiger and dragon in brass. When seen together, they represent the concept of duality in the cosmos. There is a repair (sewn together) on the left side of leather pouch. This dates
from the first years of the Meiji period (1868-1912).
