Description:

A Longquan bird-feeder was in plain form.
Well mold in round shape, the vessel was preserved in perfect condition.
The loop hole was sealed by the glaze slip.
There are glaze crackles yielded on the surface when whitish incursions were happened inside the cup.
They were caused from long time of age.
It was a rare piece from which some similar ones were in the collection of the Palace Museum of Beijing(see last two photos)...

An Ancient wooden casket for Buddhist ritual implements lacquered black and decorated with lotus flowers in silver and gold on scrolling vines with an inscription beneath stating it was donated in the New Year of Kenmu 2 (1334). The lacquer, originally black, has oxidized to a mellow chocolate color. It is 33.5 x 18.5 x 13 cm (13 x 7-1/2 x 5 inches). As one may imagine there is a great deal of wrinkling of the lacquer from shrinkage, some losses and much wear to the edges...

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Glazed Porcelain Covered Jar

This attractive small covered jar was made during the 13th / 14th Century (Song / Yuan Dynasty). It is coated inside and out in a pale slightly greenish-blue Qingbai glaze. Around its waist are deeply incised lines for decoration and it stands on quite a sturdy foot. The cover has a carved pattern to give it the appearance of a tiled roof; this jar represents a granary.

Description:

A Cizhou tea bowl was in good elm bowl's shape.
Well glaze on the surface with russet slip and therefore the intriguing firing effect, the bowl was well shaped on the foot ring with steep wall.
Buff-tinted of the clay, and all other obvious characteristic like the retrospective sheen of the glaze proved the bowl an ancient one.

Date: Jin Dynasty, 12th/13th century.

Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Pottery Lotus Leaf Jar - Dharma Wheel
