A true part of Kyoto modern ceramic history, this robust vase reminiscent of Okinawan Kaki-otoshi ware was created at the Kyoto 2nd Industrial School circa 1925. It comes in the original wooden box titled Black Glazed Vase with Flower Motif, and signed inside Kyoto Shiritsu Dai Ni Kogyo Gakko followed by a large red seal. Description:

A black-glazed Cizhou censer was characteristically decorated on the the surface with striking russet strips.
Supported by three squeezed feet on the bottom, the censer owned a round body which extending upward to a wide mouth.
The mouth was framed with a flat band of rim which in everted slope.
It was well preserved in perfect condition and owned the very characteristics for authentication.

Description;

A Song inkstone in slender form was with sunken square pool.
In slight green tint of the Duan stone quality, it was quite clean on the surface when old patina and wave-like stone veins were yielded on the reverse side.
By a good size, it was most likely a practical scholar item rather than just a piece for burial use.
