A very unusual Shino-yaki ceramic Tsuri-doro hanging lantern with bronze handle and chain dating from the early 20th century, Meiji to Taisho period. Made in the shape of a thatched house, four ragged posts support the roof and delineate the rounded sides. A different opening is seen on all four sides, a square door, grated circular window, The character Hisa, and a latticed circular window. The white glaze is scorched red on the edge of the roof...

Description: A bamboo brush pen was preserved in very good condition. By a warm brownish patina, the brush pen was carved exquisitely with grand mountainous scenery. Scholars were watching scroll with attendant under knarred pine trees while crane was flying amid scrolled cloud. Scholar rocks stand stylishly with finely rendered shape...

Oversized modern limited edition Japanese woodblock print depicting a rural farming scene viewed through a forest by Unno Mitsuhiro (1939-1979). Signed in kana “Mitsuhiro” and dated 1972 in white ink at the lower left corner of the image. Pencil-signed “M. Unno,” titled in kanji, and numbered 16/100 in the lower right margin. Paper size nearly 19”V x 24 ½”H (image: 15 1/8”V x 21 ¼”H). Very good overall condition with a faint mat burn evident (see enlargement 5)...

This is a charming lobed shaped tea-pot standing on four small individual feet. On one side it has a painting of a pair of sparrow in a blooming lotus pond. On the other side, it has a poem written on it. Circa. early Chinese Republic period 1940s-1950s.

No hairline crack, glaze fritting, damage, repair or restoration. The tea-pot is in good condition.

The dimension of the tea-pot: The height is 11.7cm, the length is 22cm and the width is 10cm.

A fine b/w bowl with well balance potted, decorated at the exterior with three Phoenix on flight among continuously chrysanthemum scrolls, interior center with a 'Vajra' design within double circle. Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period ware. Condition is very good, with no any chips, no cracks and free from restoration, just found minor crackle glaze to the body and base. Diameter approx 13.5 cm.

fine and rare blue & white wine cup, well balance potted, decorated outside with three children playing, four characters mark inside the center "Yu Dhang Jia Zhi" within a single circle. Condition and glaze is excellent, no chips and no cracks, free from restoration. Very nice cup from private collection found in South Sulawesi area. Ming dynasty 16th-17th century. A pair of Jizhou jars was intriguingly molded in imitation of two woven bamboo boxes.
By typical characteristics of sticking-rice-like body clay which revealed at the lower portion of the boxes and the flat foot rings, the ware’s glaze was kept in very good condition.
On the surface, clear and crispy patterns were beautifully defined. Hand-crafted knobs were skillfully added on the top of the caps.
Some adhesives were preserved on the surface for authentication...

Original posters are almost impossible to find. I had acquired these posters many years ago in Beijing and forgot I had the. Just discovered them recently. Age: 1920s. Size: 76cm x 51cm. Condition: Some fraying around the edges and minor rips from age.

A lovely b/w cover box in fruit-shaped, decorated to the body with windows panel filled with grass and diaper motif. On the top surrounded by 'ruyi' head to be formation of flower head. A fabulous miniature jar in globular form of Longquan ware with white crackle or so-called 'ice crackle' under bluish green glazed. Possibly it is belong to 13th-14th century late Song to Yuan period. Condition is good near to perfect. Wide: 8.2cm and High: 6.8cm.
