Chinese Ming dynasty bronze standing acolyte on wood stand naturalistically pierced and carved to resemble a rocky outcropping. The left hand holds an object and the right hand gestures with two fingers pointing to the ground. The figure wears a gown and a headdress with long billowing ribbon scarves. Metal prongs secure the figure into the stand which appears to be original. 6 5/8" high on the stand. Excluding the metal prongs, the figure is slightly over 5" high. Circa 16th century...
A blue & white small bowl, well balance potted, decorated at the interior center with an Eagle and diaper pattern border around the rim. Four Chinese character mark on the base "Da Ming Nien Chao" within double circle. Late Ming dynasty Longqing-Wanli period. Condition is very good, only one tiny chip to rim and to the foot rim, otherwise is perfect with no any cracks and free from restoration as well. Diameter: 10 cm and High: 5.5 cm.

Underside with two fruit blossoms, "Fu" square mark on the base within one circle. Late Ming dynasty 17th century,Wanli phase. Large table top scholar's huanghuali chest with all it's original hardware. This is an early Ming piece as the huanghuali wood is quite thick. In later Ming pieces the wood was reduced in thickness as the huanghuali became scarcer. The hardware is typical early Ming. It is 100% original except for the inner tray that was probably added later. Size: L. 41.5cm. W. 24.6cm. H. 19.3cm.

Exquisite repairs in overlapping gold wave designs on colored lacquer drape upon the rim of this 17th century chawan tea bowl. The white clay is covered with millet colored glaze upon which have been scrawled simple designs like the character for person (hito). The bowl is 10.5 x 10 x 6 cm (4-1/4 x 4 x 2-1/2 inches) and is in excellent condition, in a modern kiri-wood collectors’ box.
