Description: A beautiful floral picture was done by unique techniques. Totally used with cast iron, the plants of peony flowers, the leaves and the stems were skilfully hammered, chiseled and soldered together into a natural form. The tradition of iron pictures was developed at late 18th century. For this piece, it was from late 19th century and had been finished with some black paint in the later date for covering it from further erosion. Condition: Very good...

Description: A small but well molded bronze censer was in decent elm bowl's shape. Made of fine quality of metal material, the bronze censer was in good weight of 238 gram when in a lovely size of 5.0 cm in width and 3.2cm in height. Hollowed inside with good curve as the outside, the bronze bowl which in a plain form was an ideal censer to either hold in hands feeling the warmth, sniffing the aroma of the fine burning incense or just being as a paper weight fondling in your palms...

Basket-hilt officer's sword with inlaid blade, Scottish, 1796 pattern. 18th century. Brass open work basket hilt with original fish skin grip wrapped in copper wire, and the steel blade engraved and inlaid in gold with emblems of a coronet, a Highlander, and crossed cannons. Chinese scholar's desk root wood (possibly cypress) sculpture depicting Sanxing (Three Star Gods) representing longevity, happiness, and wealth. The god of wealth holds a small child representing wishes for future good fortune through healthy offspring. Measures nearly 11" high by 12" long. Late Qing dynasty to early Republic period. Very good overall condition. There is old bug damage to the back of two heads which appears at one time to have been filled (see enlargements 9 and 10)...
