A traditional folk costume frippery crown called "Schappele", worn in the Bregenzerwald in Austria by girls and unmarried young women. This pendant is classic Arts & Crafts. Signed “Queensway”, and marked Sterling Silver, it sports beautiful enamel which shades from cobalt blue into a dark green. This is an old Los Ballesteros bracelet that is made heavy and thick. The condition is like new with no dents or problems of any kind. The wearable diameter is 2.25in. The piece is domed and measures 1 3/8th's inches wide tapering to .75in. in the back. It weighs a luxurious 99 grams heavy. This bracelet was very difficult to photograph because of the reflective shine of the silver.
Vintage 1930's sterling silver and carved onyx box designed and signed by Frederick Davis (1880-1961). Measures 3 3/4" X 2" X 1 1/2" high. Box weighs 129 grams, 4.05 oz. Beautiful original condition with no dings or dents. Carved onyx Mayan face in perfect condition. Davis designs are featured in the 20th Century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art - LACMA.
