Lovely Qing Dynasty carved Jade buckle in the form of a crab.

Description:

A limestone stone carving was well performed by sleek cutting edges.
A crouching lion on the top, the stone weight was an original isolated piece as we can believe.
Most of the surface was calcified into grayish white tint.
It was an obvious characteristic for a stone piece what had been stored in a seal-up chamber, maybe under a temple.
The true color of the stone was revealed underside in darken tint...

Decorated with incised petals on the center and floral scroll on the rim. Unglaze base with 'chicken heart'. Yuan Dynasty Widht = 15 cm Condition : 2 cm glaze hairline, no chips, cracks and free from restorations.

Chinese Qing dynasty wucai porcelain scalloped edge ritual bell with double-dragon form handle decorated with eight polychrome mythical beasts set against underglaze blue crashing waves on a white ground.
