Description: A porcelain snuff bottle was beautifully painted on the surface with insect of grasshopper in the weeds. On the other side, a well-rhythmed poem was finely written to depict the picture. It was in perfect condition with original dipper on top. An inscription mark Qian-Long-Nien-Zi was at the bottom. Date: Qing Dynasty(19th century). Height: 7.9cm.

A sensuous snake coils over its own tail to form this beautifully executed bracelet. Dating from the 1960's, the 14Kt yellow gold snake bangle has bezel set ruby eyes and a snakeskin design that covers not only the top of the bracelet but the entire outside surface and back. The width of the bracelet at the widest part is 5/8”.

Hand crafted sterling silver cascabell pin designed and signed (c.1940's)by Taxco, Mexico artist Valentin Vidaurreta (1902-1955). Measures 3 1/2" X 2". Comprised of 19 cascabells on five sterling stems and tied with a sterling silver bow. Valentin was the primary designer for Hector Aguilar and the Taller Borda and was considered one of the best Taxco silver designers of the period. His art leaned toward fauna and foilage and this can be seen in his sterling silver designs...

American art pottery puzzle mug by George E. Ohr. Circa 1915. Mint condition. This mug is fashioned from terra cotta colored clay covered in a striated brown glaze. Impressed on the underside "G.E. Ohr Biloxi Miss." The handle is adorned with a stylized rabbit's head, and the rim, handle and sides are perforated with a pattern of holes. Size: 3 3/4" ht. x 3 5/8" diameter x 5 1/8" across the handle.

A typical Muromachi style Sansui screen showing scholarly travelers in a ragged landscape of precipitous hills and temples dusted with clouds of gold flake likely dating from the late 16th century. It is bordered in fine antique patterned brocade with a black lacquered frame. The gold mist engulfs the scene, giving life to the unusually large figures, a Muromachi-Momoyama trait. In the area about the travelers’ path, gold has been rubbed into the paper, giving it a soft sheen...
