Lovely smal pottery piece, decorated with a poem in dark brown on a creamy white base. H. 16,5 cm. Excellent condition. Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Well carved in cedar, this Northwest Coast box measures 4 3/4" high x 4 3/8" wide and deep. In the tradition of Haida, Salish, Tsimshian, and other First Nation tribes of the Northwest Coast, the box is kerfed and hand carved with deep traditional designs that are abstracted and stylized. The cedar has a lovely sheen, also typical of the wood as it ages. It is signed in pencil on the bottom, the name Wilson visible, with a name or initial above that is not clear...

Description: A Yinquing ewer or water dropper was kept with its original cap. Produced from Jindezheng of Jiangxi province, it was an exquisite Qingbai(bluish white) porcelain manufactured in one of the Hutien kilns. On the surface, when motifs of flowers were framed with 16 different sectors, subtle pinhead incursions were randomly spread in the bluish glaze. It happened to the surface of the cap too. Characteristic chalk-feel body clay was revealed at the bottom...

These earring are marked with one of Matilde Poulats oldest hallmarks. Trying to find these now is getting more difficult all the time. They are 1.5in. long and 1in. wide. They have been converted to post but the hallmark was not disturbed.

Big, impressive and very nicely cast sterling silver bracelet bearing the signature of the Peruzzi Bros' Boston line. One of the oldest Italian jeweler families still in production, Fll Peruzzi are renowned for their Renaissance Revival designs and their beautiful castings. The bracelet at hand is made up of rectangular panels featuring Greek warriors and ladies in garden settings with the ever-present putti in the mix...

Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) by Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992) titled “Goro in the Rain” (“Ame no Goro”) dated 1980. This boldly colorful kabuki theater image features an actor portraying Soga Goro, one of two historic samurai brothers who avenge the death of their father. In this image, Soga Goro is dressed in fine clothing and holds an umbrella though no rain is evident. He is apparently travelling to the pleasure quarter to visit a courtesan...

Spectacular & rare this vintage 940 sterling silver chrysocolla bracelet was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). One of Aguilar's best designs the bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide at the front tapering to 1" w. at the back. Interior circumference is 6 3/4" when bracelet is closed. 81 grams, 2.09 oz. Each of the 9 stones are bezel set and framed by twisted silver columns tipped with silver balls. All stones are in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks...

Sold. This higher silver content marked 950, better than the usual 925. Maker's Mark: "La Maricela Taxco" in a circle around the 950 silver content. Is chased, engraved and with applied granulation. 3" X 2.25" in very good condition in rich silver color with age appropriate patina in crevices. Has Not been polished and no issues.

This flower basket brooch by Vrba is spectacular, huge and very three dimensional. Verba, who formerly designed for Miriam Haskell, has outdone himself on this one! Composed of glass beads and shimmering amathyst rhinestones placed in a dark metal setting, this brooch is a show stopper when worn. And, it is a treasure for the collector. An astounding 5" high, 4" wide and (approximately) 1 1/4" deep. Signed Lawrence Vrba on an oval plaque.

You’ll feel like royalty in this platinum and diamond engagement ring from the 1960’s. The impressive 4.03 carat Marquis cut stone is between J and K color and of SI2 clarity. For better appearance the imperfection in the center stone was laser treated. The center stone is flanked by two straight diamond baguettes, bringing the total carat weight to a stunning 4.25. Rare Chinese Neolithic Machang / Banshan Painted Pottery Jar

This unusual pottery jar was made over 4,000 years ago during the Machang Phase (c. 2300 - 2000 BC), or possibly the earlier Banshan Phase (c.2600 - 2300 BC) of the Majiayao culture, also known as the Gansu-Yangshao culture, from present day Gansu or Qinghai province. It is quite thinly-potted and highly-fired, made from a pale yellowish-brown pottery...

This vintage size 5-1/2 ring measures 1/2" x 13/8" across the setting which has a central pearl and a row of three small synthetic ruby stones. The ring is stamped SIFFARI 10K (Canada 1941-). It weighs 2.4 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

The teapot with tea filter insert, hinged handles of divided hexagonal section and form, a raised and engraved decorative reserve on each of six sides, a shaped spout also of hexagonal section and decorative flow-key with marks (a Chinese character and the pi symbol)...

An antique 9K men's signet ring with a photo locket top. This Victorian gentleman's size 8-1/2 or size 8.5 ring features a 5/8" x 1/2" upper section fashioned from an actual Victorian hinged photo locket which has been soldered shut and engraved with an ornate Gothic GWS monogram. It has Birmingham, England hallmarks for 1864 (no Queen's head). This ring bears an inscription on the interior under the top section of WITH FONDEST LOVE LIZZIE. It weighs 6.7 grams...
