Rare Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Swatow Porcelain Incised Celadon Dish - Flying Horses

This large and rare porcelain dish, of the type known as "Swatow" ware, was made during the Wanli reign (1573 - 1620) of the Ming Dynasty at the Zhangzhou kilns in Fujian province where many such wares were made for export around South-east Asia...

Description: An enamel covered box of Qing dynasty was kept well and with an old auction sticker of the Christie's on it. Decorated with beautiful motif of flowers in four parts including at the cover, metal wire was chased into the scarlet ground and formed with archaic regular lines. Date: Qing Dynasty (19th Century) Condition: Two minor old defects. One was at the rim of the cover while the other was at the bottom. Height: 7.9cm Width: 6.3cm

NAKED JAPANESE MAN 1908

Old anonymous charcoal drawing backed with washi Japanese paper, dated back to Meiji 41 (1908) as signed, 47.5 x 63.5 cm (18.70 x 24.99in), in very fine antique condition with aged deterioration as is, with stain and surface crack as seen. *Fixed with four small magnets on the wall when shooting, so that no holes at the corners...

This very personable squirrel broach is cast in 18Kt yellow gold with a ruby eye. The squirrel is holding a diamond that represents an acorn. The differently finished surfaces make this pin very life like. The pin is 1” high and ¾” wide.

A Rare Mirror Black glazed vase, of fluted, foliated section with waisted neck and foot, each side molded with Ogival panels, the narrower sides with a pair of molded Lion-Mask and ring handles. Ching Dynasty Early 19th Centuries, possibly Dao Guang period in excellent condition, the perfect and beautiful one, High: 28.8 cm.

Here is an amazingly detailed dragon or griffin stick pin with a tiny accent diamond in her mouth. She tests as 14k gold, and measures 5/8 x 1/2" with a total length of 2-1/8". She weighs in at 2.4g. A lovely small drum-shape jarlet, decorated with two blossoms of chrysanthemum scroll divided by two horizontal ring handles. Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century. Condition is perfect with no chip, no crack and free from any restoration, unfortunate always found with missing cover. Diameter maximum : 7.2cm and High: 5.1cm.

This elegant, jewel encrusted hand mirror was designed c. 1950's by Mexico City aritist Matilde Poulat. The mirror measures 6" x 3". The outer edge of the glass is beveled. The surrounding frame is inlaid with pyramid cut amethysts and turquoise stones set into channels all in beautiful condition. Gorgeous set of Margot de Taxco dangle earrings, I believe this design is rather difficult to find in this form and I am thrilled to present it here. Ovals, curves, spheres and domes all combine to create a delightful pair of teardrop treasures that measure 1 7/8" long by 3/4" wide. The earrings weigh 14.6 grams (for the set) and are fully and appropriately marked with Margot's signature, Eagle 16 assay mark and des. no 5740 (I believe; it's double stamped and difficult to read)...

A good sample of Ming dynasty Chenghua period blue & white dish, decorated with a white on blue Dragons and vividly incised to dragon body. Six character "Da Ming Cheng Hua Nien Zhe" within double circle on the base. Condition: damaged and glued restoration like indicated on the pictures. Diameter: 17 cm.

A Mongolian solid silver and coral ring with a pin-mounted genuine coral cabochon with silver beaded design circa 1930s. This vintage ring is approximately 75 years old but may be older. It is currently a size 8, but is adjustable. The coral is a dark red orange color. to any size. It measures 3/4" x 1/2" across the front, it weighs 5.3 grams and it is unmarked (it has been tested, and is guaranteed to be silver)...
