Description:

A lovely bronze statue was in legendary subject of Laozi(or Lao-tzu)Riding Ox.
In small size but was well cast and was carved nicely, the statue obtained enduring old darken patina when brownish metal sheen revealed underneath.

Date: Late Ming or Early Qing periods, 16th/17th centuries.

Description:

A peach-bloom glazed water basin was in nice shape.
Well glazed in gradient tints, the basin was revealed with finely-grained body clay at the foot ring when darken firing effects was resulted within.
It was used for some time. Crackled wires were yielded inside the basin.

Date: Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th century.

A long silk lampas-woven sash, known as hizam, once worn by a Moroccan bride. The beautiful pattern being reminiscent of the fabled textiles of Moorish Spain. The pattern repeat is changing in the middle of the girdle, the ends are decorated with the auspicious eight-pointed star and the hand of Fatima (hamsa). One side with three the other with originally four fringes. Condition: one tear, one fringe missing, traces of usage. Dimension: 221 cm x 21.2 cm without fringes.
