Description: A beautiful Jizhou bowl was in wonderful condition. By a firm and stable condition of the glaze which was very unusual to a Jizhou ware, the bowl was kept perfectly and preserved with all aspects of the characteristics as a genuine piece. In a typical Wan (bowl) type with wide mouth rim, the bowl was molded with steep wall and with comparatively flatten bottom. A very lovely small celadon washer, decorated with incised panels surrounded to the top and covered overall with nice pale powder green, base unglazed. Found at South Sulawesi area. Condition is very good, no any chip, no crack and free from restoration. Possibly Yongle-Xuande period or earlier. Diameter: 5,5 cm.

This is a large and beautiful Song dynasty meiping or plum vase of baluster shape, the sides rising upwards from a slightly recessed base, curving in towards the stepped shoulder and surmounted by a short straight neck with what looks like a double ring. A rare and lovely miniature b/w jar, decorated to the body with three friends of winter, these are the pine, bamboo and prunus. Ming dynasty 15th century excavated on South Sulawesi. Generally speaking this kind of Ming b/w small jar specimen is more rare to found than the others such like Yuan or late-middle Ming type. Condition is perfect except tiny flake to glaze, soft paste body. High: 5.3cm and Wide maximum: 5.7cm.

A good sample of Ming dynasty Chenghua period blue & white dish, decorated with a white on blue Dragons and vividly incised to dragon body. Six character "Da Ming Cheng Hua Nien Zhe" within double circle on the base. Condition: damaged and glued restoration like indicated on the pictures. Diameter: 17 cm.

A porcelain water basin in charming celadon glaze was in a flatten form.
Sit on the flat bottom, the water basin was decorated on the surface with circular rings which separated the surface in three sections.

On top, under the steep mouth rim, small circles in rings were surrounded around.

Large Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Glazed Buddhist Jar with Sanskrit Inscription

Description: One elegant Qingbai stem cup was molded with beautiful foliate rim. In a milky white glaze, the revealed body clay tells its origination being from Hutien kiln. As being from the same origination of the high-quality Hutien kiln, the delicately shaped stand was especially in a quite good look by its finely pottered rim. In a wonderful profile, the intact porcelains were perfect in sets and as the porcelaineous copy of the metal counterparts of the same date...

Very Rare Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Buddhist Lotus Jar with Sanskrit Inscription

This very rare, possibly unique, pottery jar was made between the 10th and 13th centuries, during the Five Dynasties period (AD 906 - 960), Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279) or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province. 

It is one of the most unusual Yunnan jars that we have seen. The design represents either lotus leaves or a lotus blossom...

Description:

A Junyao tripod censer was in decent form.
It was well glazed in moon-white tint when subtle green glaze was reflected within.
Some crackles were yielded in the glaze due to enduring time.
Some incursions were happened too.

Date: Jin dynasty, 1115-1234.

Rare Large Chinese Yuan Dynasty Underglazed Zodiac Jar

This large and extremely rare stoneware jar of very attractive form was made during the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) or possibly the early part of the following Ming Dynasty, most likely at one of the kilns in Yuxi, Yunnan province. It is "heavily-potted" and has been decorated in an underglazed pattern of twelve panels each featuring one of the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac...

Rare Chinese Song Dynasty White Ware Cup / Bowl Stand

This very rare cup or bowl stand was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), most likely at the Cizhou kilns in Hebei province. It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a clear finely-crackled glaze over a creamy-white slip, save for the unglazed foot. There are minor chips to the glaze around the rims but no repair or restoration...

This is a fine, beautiful and brightly coloured example of a small “Jun” ware bowl which was treated as a “manufacturing defect”. The bowl is well glazed in a bright lavender colour with pooling of a bright blue sky glaze at the base of the bowl. It would have been a fine piece if not for an overglazed which has resulted in an overflow of a big pool of the glaze down to the sagger. When it cooled down, the glaze glued the base of the bowl to the sagger...

Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Qingbai Porcelain Jar / Rice Measure

This small jar was made during the 13th - 14th century, during the latter part of the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the following Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368). Its form is often referred to as a "rice measure". It has moulded decoration around the shoulder and is coated in a finely-crackled blueish-green qingbai glaze save for the rim and base that remain unglazed.

Diameter 8.5 cm, height 6 cm...

Description: A Dingyao Dish was applied with characteristic creamy white glaze.
In elegantly curved rim, the dish was decorated in the center with carved floral pattern.
It was preserved in perfect condition except some burial stains were left on the surface.

Date: Northern Song Dynasty AD960-1127

A rare early Ming dynasty Hongwu period (1368-1398) underglazed-red large bowl, decorated to the interior center with a branch of flower, the cavetto wall with reversed white on red peony design below key-fret pattern. Exterior with continuously six peony flower. Condition is good, only found two firing crack lines and minor firing imperfection, otherwise no any restoration. Diameter: 25cm.

A rare one of Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century b/w bird feeder,globular shape with a single ring handle, decorated with plum flower scrolls. Unglazed base and in perfect condition. Height: 4.5cm and maximum wide: 8.5cm.

A rare and nice small celadon jar decorated with iron-brown spotted on the body, covered overall with a banana leaf green glaze, base unglazed. A decorative method which was employed widely at the Longquan kilns in Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). In Japan the technique is called "tobiseiji" and was favored particularly by tea masters. Perfect condition, with no any chips or crack, free from restoration as well, valuable pieces collected from Central Sulawesi area...

A Longquan celadon cup, decorated with ribs to the exterior, plain at interior. Covered overall with nicely olive green with crackled glaze under stoneware body. Unglazed mouth rim. Southern Song dynasty 11th-12th century. Condition with an invisible hairline crack, no chip and free from restoration. High: 6.3cm and diameter: 8.2cm.

Description: A Jun lotus-bud bowl was in a lovely size.
By a fine condition, the bowl was applied with dark mustard-blue glaze which was hard being yielded precisely in my pictures.
It was an excavation piece that can be clearly verified by those characteristics, like the minute whitish dots happened to the glaze bubbles, the fine crackles, the incursive whitish band around the rim where the glaze meeting with the body clay and the old-feel brownish body clay at the bottom where the mold...

 

A good Longquan ware, finely and balance potted, decorated with fluted sides to interior cavetto, covered overall with pale brown glaze. Southern Song dynasty period Longquan ware. Condition with tiny flake chip to foot rim, otherwise is perfect. Diameter: 14.5cm and High: 4cm.

In unique shaped of circular box, lower part decorated with lotus petals and the cover with a lion seated figure which three holes to the wall, it's probably used for incense burner. Covered overall with Qingbai near to Celadon glaze. Late Song-Yuan dynasty 12th-13th century. Condition is perfect. Diameter: 9.1cm and Height: 14.5cm.

Blue & White bowl in rounded form, decorated outside with Chrysanthemum scroll and key-fret border around the rim. The center inside with rossete design. Ming dynasty 15th century Xuande-Zhendong period. Condition: restoration for one very large chip and the other normal chip to the rim, firing crack on base, further in good condition. Diameter: 14 cm and High: 6.8 cm.

A Song-Yuan dynasty North China ware black glaze circular cover box with unique biscuit carved flower design on the top. Perfect condition except glaze slight dull. Diameter: 7cm.

Description:

A russet-glazed Yuhuchun vase was well mold in decent look.
Fine glaze in retrospective sheen was applied on the surface when greasy-feel body clay was revealed at the bottom in brownish tint.
The vase was preserved in nearly perfect condition when two minute and shallow glaze chips were found under the flaring mouth rim.(see picture 3 )
They were being restored and were not noticeable from usually watching angles.
