Padding grits were preserved at the bottom when incursions were happened to the mouth rim and on the ridges of the patterns where the glaze was thinner.
It was in perfect condition.
Iridescent effects were reflected in the glaze.

A blue & white jar, decorated with four flowers medallion among cloud scroll around the body. Coin mark with four characters "Jang Min Fu Kui" on the base. Ming dynasty 16th century, Jiajing period. Chinese Qing dynasty natural root form scholar’s bitong, or brushpot. 7 1/2” high. The base measures about 6” diameter at the longest part. The rim is about 4 5/8” across at the widest part. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition. There is a short crack at the inner rim that extends to the interior of one thin concave area on the exterior. This piece is from the private collection of former American expatriates to Hong Kong in the 1970s and 1980s.

Rare small all - wooden Grodnertal doll about 3 " ( 8 cm ) have painted black hair with side curl and nice painted facial features with red cheek. Full articulation wooden body with jointed at shoulders , elbows , hips and knees . Has original painting and of white stocking and red shoes and body finish .
The lovely doll wears their original costume and bonnet and has generally excellent condition from circa 1850 .......
Preserved in a early box without lid ....
