Even with un-satisfactory cracks which was due to long time of burial, the snuff bottle was in stable condition and the hollowing craftsmanship was quite good. This is a nice small sancai glazed tazza cup from the Tang dynasty ((618 – 906 A.D.). The tazza is decorated with small round spots of flower like pattern with three cream spots and a brown dash in the centre. The background is glazed in green colour. The glaze on the outside of the tazza flows just below the cup, exposing the buff colour of the stem and the spread out foot.

There is no repair or restoration, crack, chip or glaze fritting. Some abrasions can be expected...

An extremely rare blue & white bowl, decorated outside and inside with cabbages design. Late Ming Jiajing period and seal mark on the base. Condition is perfect except tiny chip to the inner foot rim and a bit firing flaw or kiln adhesive adhere inside the center. Diameter: 14.5 cm.
