Splendid modern sterling and 14 k gold necklace and earrings. The basic form is the Maltese cross, each earring and the pendant are just under an inch in size. Each is centered with a bezel-set cabochon garnet of rich red color, surrounded by a patterned silver ring. At each point is a 14k gold bead mounted in a silver trefoil. Original purchase was in the mid 1990s.
Vintage sterling earrings by Angela Cummings. She left her 16 year association as a designer for Tiffany & Co. in 1984 to pursue her career as an independent designer. These beautiful earrings are signed by her and dated 1991 on the reverse of both earrings. They are 1 1/8” long, 1" wide and have clip backs. Weighing 24 grams, they are in fine original condition. A terrific, unusual Angela Cummings design after she opened her own boutique.

Sleek and modern sterling earrings with 24K applied elements, and center 24K bezel set lapis. These have 14k posts and backings for pierced ears and measure 1 1/4" diameter and weigh 11 grams total. Fine original condition with great lapis, they are artist signed and dated '91 in electric pen and also say 24k and 14k. The signature clearly says Peter but I am not able to make out the last name. Beautiful design and craftmanship and look lovely on the ear.

A highly sculptural signed pendant hand wrought in a free form Modernist tradition. This studio oval 2 3/4" pendant was made in a free form Modernist shadow box effect, which houses a vintage etched amber color glass oval with recessed rose patterns that show old intact white paint.
It is signed by the maker and suspends from a 20" chain of the same high American standard of 1/20 14K gold fill.
