This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival. This item was manufactured by the Rice-Weiner & Co, of Providence, Rhode Island. It is hallmarked with Thief of Bagdad, Korda and what appears to be a check mark 3 on one side and 61 or 6r on the other side. 2 1/2" x 2 5/8" . Excellent condition. Circa 1940...

This feels like Lucite with a lacquered overlay finish forming the zebra pattern on the outside and also on the inside. 1 1/8 inches wide, 1/4 inch thick, and 2 5/8 inches inside diameter. Ca 1892 An ornately stamped gilt metal blue chalcedony (dyed agate) bracelet in original condition with detailed crimped frames and expandable panels all accented by flowerheads and small opals. The stones' facets and tables show light wear; one stone has a small chip on a table facet, another has a small section missing adjacent the setting (please refer to pictures). Hidden box clasp and safety chain. There is some darkening to the metal. A lovely piece sold as is. 7 -1/4".

A late 19th century Vulcanite (early thermoset plastic) cameo locket pendant with an applied cameo-style head. This 1-1/2" x 1-1/8" pendant has a silverplated loop and a fine floral and spiral molded design along with a retaining bezel for hair or a photo. A rolled gold plate hatpin with a purple stone from the 1880s. This vintage late Victorian coiled tube style 7-1/8" hatpin features a bezel-set amethyst glass stone, and the gold plated top measures 1-1/8" across and 1-3/8" tall above the steel pin. This signed and dated Hollycraft 1955 bracelet has soft pastel colors. The rhinestones are in ovals, rounds, baguettes and navette cuts. The bracelet measures 1/2” x 7” inches long. The stones are all present bright and clear...

The cobras on the choker and earrings are not the least intimidating. Rather they bring a smile and a sense of admiration for their whimsy and fun. This set is among HAR's masterpieces of fantasy figurals. From a gold plated rope chain a teal green cobra curls. He is bedecked with topaz iridescent rhinestones and chunky purple stones. Necklace is 18" with closure in the front. Clip earrings match the cobra head and stones on the necklace. 1 1/4" by 1 1/4".
