This Victorian Scottish pebble brooch features an oval, scrolled and gadrooned picture frame which test to approximately 9K with 10K acid. (The solution dissolves very slowly the mark on the stone.)

A late 19th century Vulcanite (early thermoset plastic) cameo locket pendant with an applied cameo-style head. This Joseff set is elegantly simple and simply elegant---and oh so wearable. It is done in the semi matte finish referred to as Russian gold. This finish is the one for which Joseff is known. The brooch is signed Joseff, an early signature later changed to Joseff of Hollywood. I believe this is a later set produced when the company reissued some early pieces. The brooch is 4 7/8" long, 3" wide. The clip earrings are 2 1/4" long and 1 3/4" wide. The brooch has the Joseff signature.

Known as the Josephine Baker bracelet, this c1935 Bakelite and brass cuff was originally designed to hold face powder and a small square powder puff. The inner diameter of the cuff is 2 1/4" (6 cm) x 2" (5.5 cm). The opening is 1 1/4" (3.5 cm). At the widest part, the cuff measures 1 11/16" (4.9 cm). It tapers to 1/2" (1.2 cm) at the open ends. These gigantic dangle clip earrings are stunning! Signed YSL and measuring 4 1/2" long and spreading 3 1/2" wide, these goldtone earrings present a starburst effect. They are studded aurora borealis channel set rhinestones. The dangle is topped off with a large citrine colored glass cabachon. A coiled spring on the clip makes for ease of wearing.

Heart shaped pin and round earring set of japanned (black) metal. Each clear rhinestone is prong set in a frame so they a very prominent. The pin features graduated rhinestones where the earrings are identically sized stones. The earrings are clip back. Pin measures 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches, the earrings are 1 inch in diameter. Circa 1950's. Marked Austria on earrings.

The heart is 2 1/4" long by 2 1/8" wide plus the berries. This brings the total length of the pin to 3 1/2" in length. As you can see in the picture the wires are showing some wear. On the right side of the heart there appears a line with white shadow showing through the red. Considering it's age it has been well loved.
