Art Nouveau is written all over this stylish 14Kt yellow gold pin enhanced by an approximately 0.25Ct old mine diamond and an approximately 0.25Ct ruby. The marking on the catch is 585 and the makers mark is WB indicating that it was made in Europe circa 1890. The pin measures 1 ½” wide and ¾” high.

This lovely Art Nouveau lavaliere is unusual with its square lines at the top, making it both charmingly antique and very modern in appearance. It is made of 9 ct gold and is set with amethysts [the smaller stones] and a garnet/glass doublet. ] The pendant is 2" x 1", and is on a 16" 14 k gold chain [modern]. The pendant itself is circa 1900.

A fine Art Nouveau medallist stickpin depicting Demter (“Ceres”), goddess of the harvest and the seasons, in 14K gold by Louis Rault. She is shown in profile with several of her attributes including a tiara of wheat and a scythe. Louis Armand Rault was a leading designer for Boucheron 1868-75 and this is one of his signature designs. His designs were sometimes licensed to other jewelers, hence this American 14K version. A classic Victorian honeymoon brooch in 14K yellow gold. The traditional crescent shape supports a gold violet enameled in rich shades of rose, purple and cream and accented with green veining on the petals. The flower is centered with a small ruby. In Victorian flower language, the crescent shape represented “moon” and the flower represented sweetness or “honey”, thus “honeymoon”. Pins such as this were popular gifts from grooms to their new brides...

This dainty pin was made by Hermann & Speck, well-known jewelers of Pforzheim in Germany in the years around the turn of the last century. It is centered by a blue sapphire, and it has a pearl dangle. It is marked 333 for 8kt gold, but when we tested it, it held for 10k (this is not unusual; however we had never seen a mark for 8kt gold before! Very unusual!)...

A beauty from the past is this Art Nouveau 14Kt yellow gold bar pin. The pin is decorated by 3 multi colored enameled leaves and 4 2.5 mm oriental seed pearls. The length of the pin is 33 millimeters and the width is 6 millimeters.

This graceful pin is from the Edwardian/Art Nouveau era. The round peridot is framed by an oval of seed pearls, between delicate arabesques of gold set with more seed pearls, for a total of 30 (2 are replacements). Stamped 14k on the back, with an illegible maker’s mark, it measures 1-½” x 7/16" and weighs 2.0g. The peridot is slightly scratched, and the safety is a little loose and fussy, but in overall very good antique condition and with a nice patina. Circa 1910...

Period art nouveau 14k floral pin with enamel and three natural pearls by KREMENTZ, c.1898. Light green to luminescent white enamel on leaves with three small natural pearls on a gold branch make up the pin design. It is signed "14K KREMENTZ mark" and measures 1 3/8" long. A very lovely Art Nouveau lavalier of 14k gold. The green stone is actually a garnet-glass doublet, and the graceful golden swirls are set with seed pearls. /the lavalier is 1 1/4" by 1" and it comes with a 16 1/2" chain (gold filled).

Wonderful Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold stick pin in the form of a flying dragon. The coiled body is covered with finely detailed scales and the wings are detailed with webbing. The dragon clasps a small prong-set single-cut diamond in its jaws. The surfaces have the soft matte bloom or “Russian finish” that was often used in the Art Nouveau period. The pinstem is illegibly hallmarked. Tested and guaranteed 10K gold.
