Exquisite workmanship, circa 1900, this long guard chain is solid 18k gold and is 62" long. It has an intricate chain connected by navette shaped links that are spaced every 3/4 of an inch. Each navette has an engraved frame-like detail and is approximately 3/8" at its widest. It appears to be unmarked but has tested as 18k. Here is a petite pin which has a water lily or lotus motif, highlighted by a tiny seed pearl. (The lotus is a symbol of enlightenment and purity, especially to Buddhists.)
