The construction is a bit craft-like, with areas of solder showing; the long bail is attached on the back and partially obscures the maker’s mark of A.D. Design, a Copenhagen firm formed by J. This charming pin is the embodiment of Victorian design. A very stylized butterfly perches on a row of 'gold' ball-shaped dangles. The butterfly is centered with a colorless brilliant, and flanked by small ruby pastes at each side. As was common at the time in the Victorian era, a matching stickpin acts as a safety feature as well as being pretty. The pin is a generous 1 1/2" and is gold filled. There is a maker's mark PC Co. Circa 1880

Composed of a continuous metal band wound around a glass cabochon, this pendant has a clever design and sophisticated look. It needs only a simple cable chain and a dark fabric to bring out the cloudy, art glass that highlights pale pink or gray, depending on the light. The pendant measures about about 2 inches long. The silver chain in the last photo is sold separately.
This sparkling stunner has 2 big rhinestones (7/16”), 2 smaller ones (1/4”), and 8 small accent stones (there should be 9. One is missing, but it’s really hard to tell, due to all that sparkle), set in white metal. The whole thing measures 2” x 9/16” at the widest points. Stamped “Czechoslov” on the back, it is in overall good condition: the stones have a couple chips, and a little abrasion, but the stones are so sparkly it’s hard to spot these...
This dramatic necklace is composed of linked panels of various shapes, decorated with applied brass wirework and pink stone beads, possibly untreated tourmaline. The modified figure-eight chain is brass. It dates around 1960, and the design is often attributed to the Mexican jeweler Maya, although there is only a partial mark for Mexico on the back. The necklace measures approximately 18 ½ inches long; the pendant measures 6 ½ inches long by 2 3/4 inches wide.
