This realistically modeled sterling pin was made by JewelArt. It features deep ridges enhanced by oxidation, and a stylized curled stem that ends in a bead of silver. It is of good quality with a secure safety clasp and the maker’s mark on the back. It measures 2 1/4 inches long by a little over 1 1/4 inches wide.

Sterling with cabochon amethyst ball pendant with silver "unfinished" finish look of Bjorn Weckstrom's pieces, probably from Finland, c,1960's. This unusual silver lariat necklace draws on its Nordic roots with a twisted, notched spike at each end in the Viking manner. It is quite a versatile design and a sophisticated look; the strands can be knotted or draped, worn long or doubled. The chain itself is composed of doubled links, each with two perpendicular rings. Here is a sterling silver pin of signature design by the Danish maker Niels Erik From. It is composed of stylized rounded leaves and berries on a stem, enhanced by applied patination, and is secured by a rollover safety clasp. The maker’s mark is impressed on the back. Dramatic handmade Sterling Silver necklace designed by Rey Urban, and made by A. Fausing Denmark c.1960. This extremely sculptural modernist sterling silver collier necklace was designed by swedish silversmith Rey Urban and handmade in Stockholm Sweden and produced for the danish Åge Fausing workshop in the 60s. From a Cape Cod collector one finds this sleek curvilinear silver cuff bracelet stamped: STERLING with a fab picture jasper cab as the focal point. Modernist, Native American and Mexican jewelry makers have crafted this look through the years. The landscape picture jasper reminds one of Owyhee Rocky Butte or Cripple Creek in origin, yet here with its muted landscape scenery and "tree leaves" in the upper left foreground. Sm to Med frame. This modernist, geo brooch measures just over 1 3/4" x 1" (at widest point). It is concave and incised with 3 line borders. The back is hallmarked GD & Co (for Gustav Dahlgren & Co.), M (city mark for Malmo), then, the Swedish National triple crown hallmark, S (in hexagon, indicating 830 silver or higher) and K9 for 1960. The back is also signed what looks like Gillgren in script. It is in great condition.

Lovely large pendant with two cabochon moonstones and three cabochon carnelians flanking a raised depiction of two leaping fish swimming among abstract waves. Post modern handmade sterling and cultured pearl ring by Novak, c.1972. Part of a large and wonderful 32-piece collection(see several other pieces on this website) by this artist whose original concepts set his work apart from others. This gorgeous brooch measures 1 3/8" x 1 3/8". It has an overlapping, looped design with a central, prong set emerald. It is made by The W.E. Richards Company (founded in 1902, in Attleboro, MA). Their jewelry is marked WRE or Symmetalic. (Symmetalic belongs to The W.E. Richards Company.) Their jewelry is known to be very well made, using sterling silver with 10K and 14K gold, as well as semi precious stones. This is marked SYMMETALIC STERLING + 14K. It is in excellent condition

This handsome pin is simple yet smart, hand wrought with incised details. It is formed as a jagged-edge leaf and bears the mark of Bob Ford, Canada; it is also marked handmade. Ford was a founding member in 1946 of the Ontario Metal Arts Guild, according to an internet source. The pin tests as sterling although it is not marked for silver content. This elegant squash blossom is made of lovely natural red coral and sterling silver. It is most likely Navajo made circa 1960. It measures 23" in length. The blossoms measure approximately 1.5" long. The pendant portion measures 2.5" long and 3" wide. It is in impeccable condition.

Modernist pin made up of little silver “icicles”, their brightness being heightened by carré cut rock crystals. Made in the 1960’s by Kordes & Lichtenfels in Pforzheim, Germany. The bold design of this cuff features Viking influences, with embossed traditional patterns on an oxidized background. Being offered is a large and superb circa 1955 sterling silver bracelet by master silversmith Jose Anton of Taxco, Mexico. Anton was one of the earlier prominent silversmiths during the Spratling era. Handcrafted bracelet featuring large circular links with incised design each with purple purple amethyst stone inlay (pictures do not illustrate the deep purple color of the amethysts). Dimensions: size 8; links are 1 3/4" diameter. Marked as illustrated. In excellent condition.

This dramatic handmade sterling silver ring is entirely hollow-cast, for comfortable wear. It is entirely one piece, and displays a patina that indicates it is probably 20 to 30 years old. It is marked 925 underneath, with an unidentified maker’s mark that looks like an M. The slightly concave top measures 1 5/8 inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide by 3/16 inch or so deep. This large, sterling silver, pendant is most unusual, c. 1960’s. It measures 2 5/8" x 1 7/8". It is a stylized scale, made of heavy gauge silver. Two sophisticated sleek sterling bangles with niello by Hans Hansen and Karl Gustav Hansen. One bangle carries the Hansen script while the other (smaller one) has the Karl Gustav Hansen mark - both are stamped Denmark 209. Our photos don't do justice to these bronze and sterling silver artisan-crafted earrings. The curved bronze crescent shapes are bisected by undulating sterling silver forms. Each earrings is completely hand crafted, with the exception of the sterling screw back mechanisms. Circa 1960s. From the posts to the bottoms, the earrings hang approximately 3". Marked "sterling" on the screw-backs.

This wonderful brooch exhibits a foliate, flowering branch motif. Its 3 circular, petals are slightly convex with striations to central buds. The curved stems are adorned with the same buds / balls (just a bit larger). This piece measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4". The back is marked STERLING with the Carl - Art (CA with an arrow through it) maker's mark: Carl-Art, Inc. Providence, Rhode Island). This pin is circa 1950's or 60's. It has good heft and is in excellent condition.

This ornate sterling silver disk pin, by Norwegian maker Ivar T. Holth, is gilded and features an intricate wirework design. It is applied to a scalloped disk of white guilloched enamel and dates from the 1960s-1970s. It appears to have been hardly worn, with a light tarnishing of the gilt that can be addressed with a cloth cleaning. There is a secure rollover clasp on the back as well as the marks for Norway, Holth and sterling. It measures 1 ¾ inches in diameter, and has a nice heft at 22.2 g...
