Gorgeous sterling silver repousse links with an openwork design come together to create a beautiful bracelet by the famous Margot de Taxco. A large bracelet it measures 7 1/2" long by 1 1/2" wide and weighs a heavy 65.7 grams. Hallmarked Margot de Taxco, Sterling Made in Mexico, 5513A and the eagle 16. Beautiful sterling silver bracelet signed by Los Castillo circa 1950's. Weight 90 grams, 3.01 oz. 2 repousse curved fern frond silver leafs connected by a tight spring hinge are used to form a bracelet 3 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1 1/8" at the back. The inner circumference of the bracelet when closed measures 6 1/2" but expands to fit a larger wrist or arm. This design can probably be attributed to Margot de Taxco during the time that she was married to Antonio Castillo...

This is a pre-1948 Los Castillo amethyst cabachon necklace that is absolutely breathtaking. The piece is 16in. long and 7/8in. wide and weighing a hefty 84grams. Here is a nice Norwegian pendant from David-Andersen in a stylized spade shape, decorated with a pattern of impressed and textured half-circles. This fine pin, with its deep, dark yellow, palmate leaves is by Norwegian silversmith Bernard Meldah. It is sterling vermeil with basse-taille enamel and measures 1 3/4” x 1 3/4”. It has a C-catch and is marked “925 S STERLING” “MB” (superimposed, Meldah’s maker’s mark) and “MADE IN NORWAY.” This piece is in excellent condition.

This substantial 1950s sterling silver pin is formed as molded leaves, with applied flowers and a vine at the base. It was made by the Bauring Company of Long Island City, NY, and is so marked on the back. There is a secure safety clasp. The piece measures 3 1/4 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.

A pair of solid, etched silver cufflinks marked 800. Possibly German. The front measures 3/4"; total weight 11.3 grams.

A nicely designed and sturdily constructed studio piece made of cast pieces expertly joined and finished. The geometric banding and incised rays at each end suggest a Southwest origin, but the only mark is a roughly engraved signature, I-Paul, on the back of the setting. The band is composed of three strands that diverge at the shoulders. The carnelian is smooth and without flaws or damage; the entire ring appears to have been hardly worn. These earrings produced by Hector Aguilar are a book-piece design, shown p. 87 Silver Masters of Mexico. They have a stunning deco design, with bell shaped pendants which are deeply incised. The recesses are oxidized, and 5 pendants dangle below. Screwbacks work perfectly. These measure 2 1/2" long, 1 1/16" wide. Weight is 19.4 grams. Signed and hallmarked "HA 940 Taxco" with the eagle assay 9. Collector quality.

This substantial, silver link bracelet is reminiscent of ornate Renaissance jewelry. It is sharply molded with flowers, leaves, vines and beading in openwork panels linked with bars. The largest center panel features a securely prong-set amethyst. The bracelet has a fold-over clasp in good working order. It is a nice quality piece, probably European .800 silver. Elegant peaked link necklace in 940 silver by Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar. This necklace is a choker style that sits perfectly on the neck and terminates with a hook closure. It is 14 1/2" end to end and the links are 1" wide and 7/8" long. Surprising hefty, it weighs 123 grams and is in fine original condition. Signed with the 1940-48 Aguilar hallmark as shown. A very wearable and beautiful piece.

Here is a sterling silver pin of signature design by the Danish maker Niels Erik From. It is composed of stylized rounded leaves and berries on a stem, enhanced by applied patination, and is secured by a rollover safety clasp. The maker’s mark is impressed on the back. The pin measures 2 1/8 inches long by 1 inch wide.

Margot de Taxco, Margot van Voorhies Carr shows off sheer genius in this 5127 design. Rare and 1.25in. wide make you stop and take a longer look. Heavy at approximately 70 grams of repousse swirls and beads which make an abstract image of swans swimming. Anything that looks like a dent is reflection or a spot of tarnish. This is an incredibly clean bracelet.

Formed as a stylized starburst of forged wire with a central sterling silver bead, this pin is based on the Joseph Skinger design, but made and signed by Martin Lasak. The pin has a delicate look but is sturdily made. The back sports a secure rollover clasp, as well as a sterling mark. A delightful pair of cufflinks worked in 14K yellow, rose and green gold. Each cufflink depicts a woodland scene with an owl in a tree, a rabbit standing on his hind legs, various flowers and plants, and a moonlight starry sky. The combination of an owl along with a rabbit represents the concept of "night" and "day." These cufflinks were originally cuff buttons and were converted to cufflinks using the original parts.
