Hand-wrought in its entirety and a design that I have never encountered before, this early Mexican silver repousse necklace is an anonymous beauty. Its early date is attested to by the fact that it's strung on cotton thread (one of the earliest Aguilar "lyre" necklaces I sold was strung on cotton as well) and has a spring ring clasp. Not signed for maker nor metal content or origin, it is adorned by an elongated cascabela attached to the central station in an adorable yet naive way...

This ornate Peruzzi sterling silver necklace dates from the 1950s and features a central eagle drop flanked by grotesque masks. They are suspended from a bead chain. The mark of Peruzzi Boston is on the back of the eagle; the necklace is also marked sterling. The necklace measures 16 1/2 inches long; the eagle drops 1 1/4 inches. Weight: 20.4 grams

Handmade sterling and cultured pearls ring, c. 1950's. The modernist silver design has 5 cultured pearls on the top and on the bottom of varied sizes. The ring is size 6 and the front measures 7/8" high by 3/4" wide. Ring is signed "T(in shield) and S(in square box). This Norma sterling jelly belly grandma duck is 1 7/8" x 1.75" . It is hallmarked sterling,Norma and pat pend. It appears that Peninno worked for Norma. Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

Possibly the most "surrealist" early Mexican Deco "mask" brooch I have ever had, this piece is the source of so many questions for me. What is it exactly that it depicts with its "portrait" surrounded by an elaborate headdress, the two arms emanating right from its top with no actual body present? And what is the "mask" itself made of? It registers as a stone in my gem-tester but I am not sure if it is onyx or a different type of opaque, black stone...

A rare, delicately hammered dress clip by the well known Danish silversmith, Erik Magnussen. After working at Gorham and having his own shops in Chicago and New York, he opened a shop in Hollywood and designed for the stars. Returned to Denmark in 1939. This clip measures 1 3/4" long and 1 3/8" across. Marked with the conjoined EM monogram, Sterling, ERIK M. and Hollywood. Spring in clips still holds. Could be converted to a brooch or worn on a chain or neck ring as is...

The Chrysocolla stones in this Hector Aguilar bracelet are nothing short of fantastic. The color is vivid and varied in splatters of blue, green and some tan. This bracelet measures approximately 7 inches and the band in back slides open for easy on and off. Each link is 1 inch tall making quite a presence. The silver is thick with a weight of 81 grams. A vintage Birks sterling silver hand engraved hinged bangle bracelet c1950s. This 1/2" wide bracelet has engraved decoration on the front half and it measures 2-3/8 x 2-1/4" across the interior. It has a box clasp and a safety chain, and it is stamped STERLING with the Birks B in a hexagon mark and it has a small B.L. monogram on the interior. It weighs 21.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

A beautiful handmade sterling cuff bracelet with a wonderful minimalist, modernist center design from the White Hogan Shop which was in Scottsdale, Arizona. Some of the most famous Navajo Silversmiths worked in this shop including Kenneth Begay, Allen, George and Ivan Kee and Johnny Mike Begay. This bracelet measures 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 2" wide in the front and tapers to 1 1/8" at the terminals...

What a great quality necklace this is with 1 in. tall links and 76 grams of heft. No chips,damage or dents. Hallmarked as shown and will update site if I can verify the rectangle mark. The wearable is 18 inches long but you can hook it in another ring to make it shorter if desired.
