An abstract sterling silver brooch and or matching pendant with neckring by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. They have a folded three dimensional design with a pearl.

Brooch measures just under 2" long and 3/8" at the widest. Rollover clasp holds securely. There is a little wear to the top surface of the pearl but you have to use a loupe to see it.

The matching pendant measures 1 3/8" long and 1/4" at the widest. Has some tarnish...

Iconic pair of vintage, handmade sterling silver pins or brooches designed and signed circa 1930 by Taxco and Mexico City artist Frederick W. Davis(1880-1961). Each pin measures 2 1/4" high. The pair weigh 37 grams, 1.03 oz. Each pin is signed on the back with the Fred Davis conjoined FD, SILVER, MADE IN MEXICO. Both in beautiful condition. This necklace is a spectacular piece with carved and polished onyx in an edgy modernist design. A very rare necklace in collector quality. Stones are flawless.

A great vintage sterling pin by Frank Patania Sr. designed for the Southeast Arizona Sports Car Club. It was originally a car hood or grill ornament that a previous owner had made into a pin. Measures 3” long and wide and weighs 36 grams. It is signed as shown. No need to be a member of this club to love the pin!!

This classic A. Michelsen daisy pin has a diameter of 1 3/4”. The white enamel petals, like layered rays, are shiny and beautiful surrounding the detailed, sterling vermeil, textured disk. The back is marked with the “AM” beneath a crown (the Anton Michelsen maker’s mark) hallmark and “STERLING DENMARK 925 S” below that. This brooch is in excellent condition!

A vintage sterling hand wrought large pendulum shaped pendant with a small prong set dark red stone in the center. Looks like it may be a garnet. The pendant has smooth sterling around the rim with two zigzag rows of textured sterling across the center.

Measures 3 1/2" long and 2 1/2" across. Has a large double bale so could be worn on a thick chain or neck ring. Marked Sterling on the back. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches.

A blue enamel sterling silver WIF initials pin brooch from 1910 1920. This elegant 1" pin has the stylish WIF initials against a turquoise enamel ground. It has a safety pin style clasp, it is stamped STERLING and it weighs 7.3 grams. A good conversation piece if you invent a name or phrase to go with the initials (polite or otherwise)...

Large vintage circa 1930's sterling silver belt buckle designed by William Spratling, executed and signed by Artemio Navarrete. Navarrete was Spratling's first master silversmith and trained other silver artisans in Spratling's early Taxco, Mexico work shop. The buckle measures 2" X 2" and will accommodate a 1 1/4" wide strap. Weight - 20 grams or .8oz. Hallmarked on reverse conjoined AN, 980 and TAXCO. A modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet with a sterling wire overlay. Marked Sterling and 'the silversmith', which has been associated with mid century jeweler Ella Cone, who had The Silversmiths' shop in Boston. Measures approximately 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Measures about 1 7/8" at the widest. Has some tarnish and surface scratches. Nice contrast between the oxidized and polished silver. Fine example of Mid Century Modernist studio jewelry. Looks great on!

Finely carved brooch of the goddess Demeter (Roman: Ceres), goddess of agriculture, her hair wrapped in what appears to be a scarf of grain or corn. The important Greek goddesses were a popular theme in cameo carvings of the 19th century, with Demeter arguably the most important because of her association with fertility and the harvest, or sustenance...

This cool pendant / medallion has a great modernist design. It is a concave and convex disk with a radius of 2 inches. It hangs 13" from a link chain. The back is marked PEWTER Jorgen Jensen (in his script hallmark) HANDMADE DENMARK 158. Like all Jorgen Jensen pieces it displays the modernist style. It is in excellent condition.

A sterling silver modernist hand wrought cuff bracelet. Measures about 6" around with an additional 7/8" for the gap. Measures 2" at the widest. Marked Sterling and Hand Wrought. Very nice condition with some minor scratches and a little tarnish. Can be worn with the curve facing up or down. Warm patina, heavy layered sterling. Quality piece. Lays nicely on the wrist.

A wonderful vintage hand wrought sterling silver bracelet in an Arts and Crafts design. Signed with a conjoined 'JM' for Joseph Masaniello, a New York Mid Century Modernist jeweler who was instructed in Arts and Crafts traditions. Also marked Sterling. Measures 7 7/8" long and 1" at the widest. Has a hook clasp that holds securely. Curved vines design sits nicely around the wrist. Nice warm patina, very well made.

Margot de Taxco large and rare earrings that have a huge presence. Beautiful repousse sweeps with a height of 1.75in. and a width of 1 1/8th inches. Weight is 18 grams.

This sterling silver charm is 3 dimensional. It has wonderful detail, depicting a Cocker Spaniel dog. It stands 1 1/8" tall and is 1/2" at its widest. It has a good heft and is in excellent condition.
