This beautiful unsigned ring has been attributed to Bernard Instone, one of the well-known Arts & Crafts era jewelers, who frequently didn’t sign his pieces. This impressive sterling silver pin features a decoration of detailed engraved flowers and latticework. It was made by the LaPierre Mfg. Co. of Newark, NJ, and New York City, and bears the maker’s mark on the back, as well as the sterling mark. It has a very secure C-clasp and tube hinge typical of the period. This interesting fob is the setting for a sterling coin. It is a Prussian 2 Mark coin. On one side is the face of Friedrich (presumably) and his wife, a Maltese cross, and the words “FRIEDRICH * I * 1701 * WILHELM * II * 1901”; on the other side is an eagle with a crown above, and “DEUTSCHES REICH 1901 ZWEI MARK”. A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. This lovely sky-blue enameled pendant tests as silver, probably sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by flourishes in silver. This delicate and detailed sterling silver gilt and fresh water pearl pin was made by the Newark, N.J., firm of Link & Angell, c. 1910. This very flexible Diamonbar bracelet was pat. March 20,1917. It was made by the Wachenheimer Brothers, Inc., manufacturers of costume jewelry. They began their business in 1907 and ceased operation in 1931. They were located in Providence, Rhode Island.

This bracelet is 6 3/4" long and 1/4" wide. It needs to be cleaned.
