Circa pre-1948, this bracelet was produced by M. Velazquez. Velazquez was known for his superb repoussé silver work, and this piece is a killer example. Composed of five floral panels, each with a coral center, the design is elaborate and speaks to the amazing skill of this artisan. This mid-century ring is a very rare and possibly one of a kind piece from Antonio Pineda. It is absolutely stunning with a large presence, and it's collector quality. The face of the ring features nine dense green stones topped with four pearls. The face measures 1 1/16" x 7/8", and has a height of 7/16". The ring size is 7 1/4. Weight is 15.5 grams. This lovely Antonio Pineda 970 Silver Bracelet features thick heavy links with a stylized leaf motif. Featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 181, it measures 6 7/8" long by 1" wide and has a substantial weight of 82.7 grams. Hallmarked with the Antonio Taxco Crown, 970, Sterling, Silver, ZZ609 and the eagle stamp 17. Secure box clasp and attached safety chain. A beautiful, elegant bracelet with timeless style.
Hallmarks date this very rare Hubert Harmon pin 1942-1944. This is a huge piece, measuring 4 1/4" top to bottom and a width of 1 1/2".
At front and center is a huge carved face. The winged ears and turban have exquisite repoussé silver work, with amethyst cabochons for earrings, on the turban, and on the dangling necklace - which swings freely in front. The face is smooth to the touch, with internal inclusions but no chips or cracks.
Weight is 53.4 grams...
Circa early 1940's, the Lyre necklace is an iconic design from Hector Aguilar. This bracelet is a seldom seen design from Sigi Pineda. It's a spectacular modernist piece with three faceted stones which graduate in size. Circa 1940's, here is a superb pin produced by Chato Castillo.
Chato Castillo apprenticed with Matilde Poulat. In the Davis/Pack book "Mexican Jewelry", it's noted that Chato's pieces are all one of a kind. He left William Spratling's Taller de Las Delicias in 1939 to help his brothers start Los Castillo. Many of his early designs were also used as prototypes for pieces later produced by Los Castillo.

This spectacular ring produced by Fred Davis is a very rare piece. Hand-wrought with superb repoussé silverwork and a huge oval amethyst gemstone, it's a ring which will not fail to be noticed. Measures about 6.375 on a ring sizer. The face measures 1 3/16" north to south.

A classic Pforzheim school silver Jugendstil brooch decorated with plique-a-jour enamels, moldavite and seed pearls. The translucent enamels have the velvety texture and very subtle coloring typical of many Pforzheim jewels of the period. The reverse is marked "Depose 900" and has the maker's mark for Karl Hermann (Hermann & Speck), one of the leading German Art Nouveau jewelers.

Circa 1930's - 1940's, this easel frame is the work of Matilde Poulat / Matl.
It's entirely hand-wrought and exquisitely crafted, with two beautiful repoussé birds. There is a faceted amethyst along with branch coral and turquoise and coral cabochons. It's very rare to find one of these frames which was made by Matilde Poulat, herself, in this early time frame, and this one pulls out all the stops.

It's a superb piece, with two huge amethyst cabochons on either side of an "X", creating an OXO design. Pin closes with a roller. You can add a pin/pendant adaptor to hang this from a chain if desired. It would make a gorgeous pendant.

This early Mexican necklace is based on the Los Castillo dragon design, and is every bit as spectacular. Featuring superb craftsmanship, it's a true statement piece with attention to detail second to none. Closed, wearable length is 17", with each dragon having a height of 3 1/4". Weight is 73.5 grams. Hallmarked "Mexico Silver", this piece dates pre-1948. In excellent vintage condition.
Circa 1960's - 1970's, this bracelet by Carmen Beckmann is a superb modernist piece.
Produced with heavy gauge silver, it's a sleek slinky bracelet with nine tiger's eye stones. It feels luxurious on the wrist, and it shows up magnificently. The closure is a tiger's eye stone which you push down on to open the clasp, so this bracelet has a completely seamless appearance.

Hallmarks date this Matilde Poulat pin to the 1950's. Measuring 2 1/2" wide, 2 3/4" tall, this pin has two stately doves on each side, with a center teardrop amethyst, turquoise cabochons, and five dangles with coral. Pin closes with a roller. Weight is 18.1 grams. Signed and hallmarked Matl Mexico 925 M Reg 10592, along with the eagle assay 129. In excellent vintage condition.

This design is known as "birdcage", and it is absolutely stunning. It has everything going for it. Large and quite substantial, it weighs 126.5 grams. Wears beautifully and feels luxurious on the wrist.
