Each of these five late 19th-century heart charms is decorated with embossed scrolls; included is also an engraved faux lock of the same period. The hearts are identical, with one showing minor impacts; the lock looks to be hardly worn. All have their bails intact and are marked sterling on the back. Each heart measures 1/2 inch wide by 3/4 inch long, including the bail; the locket measures just under ½ inch wide by 5/8 inch long. Weight: 4.8 grams total

This Victorian Scottish sterling silver and agate kettle charm is hand engraved and inlaid with banded agate. It is a genuine mid 19th Century antique. There are no hallmarkds but it does test sterling silver. The charm is in very good condition. It is 5.8" x 1/2" approximately. I have seen these priced as high as $695.00.

This Victorian Scottish flush fitting agate panel brooch is 1 1/2" in diameter. There are no hallmarks which is fairly normal for brooches of this period.

Lovely orange banded agate dimensional circle brooch with silver construction on back. The pin measures 1 3/8" in diameter and is asymmetrical in design. A very nice Victorian silver brooch set with agates. The brooch is shaped as a modified Jerusalem cross. Unusual Victorian silver plate walnut box motif scent holder with good luck charms, comprised of a hinged intricate designed walnut with a wishbone on a chain hanging from one side. The box opens to reveal a white metal double-sided picture locket and a loose seal having a horseshoe and nail motif, unmarked but of English origin, circa 1860-1900; Measurement- 1 3/4 inches long x 1 1/2 inches diameter; Condition-Very good with missing scent bottle and bracket, wear to silver plate.

Made from colorful Scottish chalcedonies and set with a warm, orange-brown Scottish citrine, this late 19th-century brooch typifies a design that was extremely fashionable during the Victorian era. All the stones are in lovely condition and securely set; the faceted cairngorm, or citrine, is held in place by sterling silver engraved straps. The red chalcedonies are sharply cut into pyramids, alternating with inset green triangular pieces of agate that look to be bloodstone...

Charming sterling silver bracelet composed of a series of square panels embossed with scrollwork. A sterling embossed ball is suspended from the safety chain, which detaches by means of a hook. Each panel is molded hollow, with edges rolled under. The bracelet is lightweight, but substantially made; the tongue-and-groove clasp is secure, and bears the patent date of Sept. 6, 1887...

A 19thC Dutch sterling silver belt buckle from 1864. This heavy, hand made and engraved belt buckle is fully hallmarked for 1864. This 2-7/8" x 2-1/4" hand made buckle weighs 1.25 ounces, and it has an AT over 64 maker's mark, the lion passant silver purity mark, Minerva head mark, and the letter mark for 1864. This item has an overall measurement of 2-15/16" x 2-3/16", and it has an inner or belt measurement of 2" x 1-3/8"...

These fine, vintage / antique cufflinks are "chain links." They consist of inlaid jasper, bloodstone and agate in sterling silver. They are hallmarked J.C & S (for Joseph Cook & Sons). They also have the Anchor hallmark for Birmingham, England, the Lion Passant for 925 sterling silver and the date letter E for 1929. They are in excellent condition.

An excellent late Victorian silver baton link watch chain, the batons decorated with niello in a checkboard pattern. The batons are joined by gilt silver curb links. Even the dog clip and bolt clasps are enhanced with striped niello. The chain is stamped “800.”

A lovely embossed silverplate Pill Box marked Made in Italy, comprised of a figural courting scene on the front and beautiful detailed fruit and floral repousse on all sides. The inside has a gold wash. Measurements: 1" by 1 1/4", 5/16" high. Weight: 10.3 grams. Excellent condition.

An antique silver - most probably sterling - watch fob with original chain and dog clip, this sweet little find is, I believe, from the late Victorian / Edwardian period. There is nothing mundane about it either - I find the basketweave ribbon that runs the fob's perimeter at the waist eye-catching as well as the wire-work above it. Both elements enhance the orb's sculpturality which is, of course, underscored by oxidation and patina...

Stunning heavy and substantial early silver wide curved link bracelet. Marked 835. Austrian or German. Circa 1900 or earlier. Substantial at 53 grams. With an ornate Etruscan revival design comprised of many large and small applied silver beads. With a slide clasp and safety catch. The backgrounds of the curved links have a fabulous oxidized gunmetal finish.

A wonderful figural fob seal depicting England’s patron St. George defeating the dragon. The design is worked primarily in silver, but the horse’s bridle, the dragon’s dorsal ridge and the saint’s spear and shield are worked in yellow gold. The gold base encloses a flat malachite that was never engraved. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver and 18K gold.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1860. Condition: very good, some light dings on the mounting around the stone consistent with age...
