A vintage hand made Arts and Crafts period hammered silver pendant by Albert Kahlbrandt, (1878-1961), Hamburg, Germany.

Possibly 800 silver, there is a tiny touch mark on the front near the top.

Pendant measures 2 1/4" long and 1 1/2" across. Marked Handarbeit, Kahlbrandt and Hamburg and the number 8. Mark is partially obscured by extra solder, not sure why it is there.

Chain measures 10" long on each side. Has a spring clasp that holds securely.

An Ecco 48" sterling silver fine watch chain from the 1920s. This fine link chain has 1/16" flat loops and it has a sterling silver swivel and it is stamped STERLING E.C.C.O. on the swivel. ECCO stands for the Electric Chain Co. (Toronto, Canada 1916-1950) and this fine man's watch accessory or necklace weighs 11.6 grams. EXTREMELY RARE: Large and very substantial(weighs 20 troy oz.) sterling OPEN serving bowl hand made by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Beautifully hand hammered, this piece measures 11" by 7" by 2 1/2" high. It has a rounded bottom and sides with beautiful handles. The sides are rounded inward and will not accept a top. The butterfly wing has fine blue irridescence; it has a c-clasp and it is stamped SIL. Set of 12 period art deco classic design initialed sterling place card holders, c.1920's. Each piece has the art deco lettering initials "FVG" set in in a recessed oxydized background and are marked "STERLING". They measure 1 5/16" wide by 13/16" high by 3/4" deep(going toward the back). Mystery maker: Vintage silver tested unsigned unmarked Nouveau Deco Arts Crafts era scarab cabs A or B ring with applied foliate reminding one of Doris Cliff, Ms. French by the first and maybe European (B). The leaf motif looks very much like the English jewelry maker by the name of Bernard Instone. This silver smithing style is found locally perhaps handcrafted for Boston Society of Arts & Crafts? Note the applied leaves that Bernard Instone favored.

A very nice Art Deco scarab bracelet set in silver. Three glass scarabs alternate with pierced silver sunbursts set with marcasites. The sparkle of the marcasites is a nice foil for the heaviness of the scarabs. Scarab jewelry became popular after the discovery of King Tut’s tomb in the 1920s. The back is marked “Sterling”.

An early Coro Art Deco era sterling silver marcasites drop design necklace from the 1920s 1930. This angular Industrial Art Deco beauty is 17-3/4" long in the lavaliere type with a main center drop. Decorated with applied grapes, vines and gold leaves, set with an amethyst, this arts and crafts cross pendant is probably English and reminiscent of the work of Henry George Murphy, though it is unsigned.
