Spectacular design in this wide, bold silver overlay bracelet by Hopi Manuel Hoyungowa ( 1953-2011) who was an active silversmith since the 1970's having learned from Preston Monongye. The bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1 7/8" wide and weighs a solid 84 grams. It in fine original condition and hallmarked as shown. An amazing, precise pattern perfectly executed.

A stand out modernist sterling silver ring from Finland by Pekka Piekainen for Auran Kultaseppa. Iconic flared design. Very heavy and solid.

Marked on the back of the shank for Kultaseppa, Finland silver standard, 925, Town mark for Turku, and X7 for 1976. Also marked with the maker's mark and Finland. About a size 8.

In fine condition with some surface scratches and tarnish, shows some surface wear. There is a very tiny ding at one corner on the underside, you really have to look for it...

A lightly hammered sterling silver bangle bracelet by Tone Vigeland. Measures 2 1/2" across the inside and 2 3/8" high. Also measures about 7" around the inner circumference. Slightly oval so easier to slip on. Better for a small to medium wrist.

Marked with the ND and the Plus sign for Norway Designs Plus, conjoined TV for Tone Vigeland, Sterling, 925S and Norway.

A modernist pendant by the noted NYC jeweler, Paul Lobel. This pendant is made of sterling silver in the shape of a stylized leaf with a wire overlay which wraps around to become the bale. Signed on the back, LOBEL, Sterling. Has some tarnish and minor surface scratches. Measures 1 7/8" across and 3" high including the bale.

Chain measures 17" and has a hook closure that holds securely.

Though it is not uncommon to find Mexican silver fur pins, it is usually single pieces that are available. Here, however, there is a pair bearing the signature of the Los Castillo in a “bow and flower” design. I am not sure if the workshop ever made a whole parure available in this specific design - I have had the small bow necklace / bracelet sets in the past but this is an enhanced version, with more elements added to the bow and the bow itself bigger and fancier...

A remarkable vintage sterling bracelet with 7 vibrant deep red coral saw tooth bezel set stones by Carmelo Patania who was the brother of Frank Patania Sr. It measures 6" around in the inside plus a 1 1/4" opening and is 1 1/8" wide. Weighing 69 grams, it is in fine original condition with no chips or cracks to the stones. Signed as shown. The stones are spectacular in color and the chiseling and nugget trim add additional interest to the piece.

A vintage hand wrought modernist sterling pendant strung on a green silk cord by noted mid century jeweler, Mary Schimpff Webb, (1922-2019).

The central pendant set with a large green stone has light hammering. The pendant measures 1 7/8" long and 1 1/4" across. The four links and the hook clasp are also hand wrought sterling silver. Marked Schimpff sterling on the back. Measures about 22" long in total.

This Los Castillo is one designed by Margot Van Voorhies when married to Don Antonio Castillo that unhooks and also doubles as a brooch. The matching chain and the drop is repousse and hand carved on top. The drop / brooch measures 3.75 inches tall with a width at it's widest point of 2 1/8th inches. There is a generous wearable length of 17 in. The early hallmarked Los Castillo designs are the best and this is one of those that is seldom found. Deep repousse' was used to create Spratlings' magnificent and labor intensive feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl design. Weighing 60 grams & measuring 3 1/4" x 2" the pin is in exquisite condition with gorgeous patina. It does have a patina that has not been touched and buyer can make it their own. There is 114 grams of stunning design, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Spratling designed this impressive pendant in the 1940's. Measuring 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" the piece is beautifully detailed with 4 beveled cut amethyst stones & a center cab set into thick silver frames. The sterling chain in the style of Spratling measures 20" long. Together the cross and chain weigh 87 grams. The piece is in beautiful vintage condition. Hard to find the William Spratling wood and swirl cross in this fine condition with a Spratling chain as well. The chain is 21 inches long and has solid silver links. The drop with bale is 2 5/8 th inches long and 1 and 5/8 th inches across. It bears the old 980 hallmark and weighs 63 grams of thick silver.

A bold Matl Matilde Poulat early bracelet which is 84 grams of expert craftmanship. A you can not miss size of 2.25 in. x 2 in. center piece. 7 3/8 th inches long. The stones are red coral, Turquoise, and citrine. The birds have excellent carving and there is no damage or repairs of any kind. Simply stunning and rare.

A pair of vintage sterling silver heart shaped earrings by Peggy Ackerly, (1921-2011), who apprenticed with Sam Kramer from 1943-64. Ackerly helped design and execute many of Kramer's most iconic pieces. These earrings are post 1968, when she began using the conjoined MA mark for Margaret Ackerly.

The heart shaped pieces swing on the curled vines that are attached to the ear wires. The earrings measure 7/8" across and 1" tall. Marked with her hallmark and sterling on the back of each one....

This Quetzalcoatl necklace and brooch is a true sculpture. Beautifully detailed with 107 grams of heavy silver repousse. The wearable length is 18 inches long. The drop / brooch is 3in. and 3.75in. tall. There is no damage and a gorgeous natural patina. The feathered repousse chain links easily unhook to become a brooch. Silver gilt earrings from the years just after the French Revolution, with hallmarks used 1798 – 1809. “Poissarde” (fishmonger’s wife) model with hinges fastening in the front motif, in this case a faceted ball. Some might say this Margot de Taxco pectoral is her defining work since leaving Los Castillo. The length is approximately 17in. Weight is 96 grams of masterful repousse technique. It spans 3.25in. across on the drop and 2.5in. at the widest point for the height. Design #5184 is seldom seen now and this one has a warm natural patina. No damage or repairs, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Spratling designed this pin in 1942 as part of a series of items depicting continental solidarity. The pin shows clasped hands superimposed over a gold gilded map of the western hemisphere. This pin was made in two sizes, this being the larger at 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". The fastener is a two pronged clip. Both pin and original fastener are in excellent condition. In 1942 Macy's Dept. Store did an entire window dedicated to this design. The pin is pictured on Phyllis Goddards' website spratlingsilver....

A vintage MCM large sterling silver sun brooch or pendant by the Talleres Monasticos Monks who signed their work EMAUS.

This stylized sun measures 4 1/4" high and 4 1/4" across. Has a large bale so can be worn on a thick chain or neck ring collar. Also has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. There is a little pitting on the pin part.
