This Mexican sterling bracelet has a warrior-like feel, with its shield-like openwork panels. The domed centers are set with small black glass cabochons that could be obsidian. These sterling silver earrings have a great mod, geo design. They are by silversmith Miguel Garcia Martinez, a primary designer for Rancho Alegre, Taxco, Mexico. The turquoise stones are bezel-set in a tear-drop shape that matches the shape of the earrings (which are slightly concave). Both earrings are marked miguel (in script) and 231. They are also hallmarked RANCHO ALEGRE. They dangle 1 1/2" from their screwback closures. They are circa 1960s and are in excellent condition.

Shaped as stylized heads, they are hollow cast and pierced for stringing. Faces show on both sides of the beads. One bead has a casting imperfection on one side (see Photo #1); the other side is intact. There are a total of 19 beads; strung together they measure 9 inches long. They are possibly Mexican. Weight: 21.6 grams total

A great looking Mexican sterling silver Metales Casados pin c1950s-60s. This anamorphic 2-1/4" X 1 3/4" pin has a black resin stylized bird on a silver, copper and brass ground; the silver backing to the black resin is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO 925 and it has a safety catch. It weighs 15.9 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This ring has an oval, biomorphic shape with a sparkly, green, glass cab in the center. It is surmounted on a tapered band. It is a size 5 (but is adjustable). It measures 1 1/8" x 3/4" (at its widest) and 1/8" (at its "thickest"). The ring is thick, heavy gauge silver plate. It is very good condition.

Today we are offering an Antonio Pineda moonstone bracelet. The length is 7in. and the width at the widest point is 1.25in.at the curl. All the moonstones glow a beautiful blue and the backs of the mounting are open to receive light. This is properly hallmarked as shown and is a heavy bracelet of 107 grams of almost pure 970 silver. The push pin closure shows of a moonstone jewel of it's own which is just an extraordinary plus in this design. No damage or flaws but there is glare and reflections...

An abstract sterling silver brooch and or matching pendant with neckring by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. They have a folded three dimensional design with a pearl.

Brooch measures just under 2" long and 3/8" at the widest. Rollover clasp holds securely. There is a little wear to the top surface of the pearl but you have to use a loupe to see it.

This handsome pin is simple yet smart, hand wrought with incised details. It is formed as a jagged-edge leaf and bears the mark of Bob Ford, Canada; it is also marked handmade. Ford was a founding member in 1946 of the Ontario Metal Arts Guild, according to an internet source. The pin tests as sterling although it is not marked for silver content. Very cute and sporting quite an obsidian sheen is this rather large 2 inches long and 1 inch wide beetle brooch. Hallmarked as shown with an early eagle 3. The weight is 14 grams. Very well made and a perfect gift or just for yourself!

This stunning bracelet by Felipe Martinez has the most gorgeous Azur-Malachite stones in vivid shades of blue and green set in thick sculped links. Measures 6 5/8" long by 1" wide and weighs 76.7 grams. Hallmarked "Piedra y Plata, Martinez, Sterling, Taxco, 175" and the eagle 3. No damage noted, it has a secure clasp and attached safety chain. Martinez was known for his superb lapidary skills and this beautiful bracelet is a wonderful example of his work.

It has an angular starburst design with a wide bail that bears a 925 mark as well as Hebrew markings. The .835 silver chain is not original to the piece, but is of the period.
