This brooch features an ancient Celtic design: two birds (probably swans) with enameled wings, bodies and eyes, with interlaced silver above and below. The enamel is in red, blue, green, and white. Of flexible and hand-wrought construction with bezel mounted teal ceramic oval pieces at the terminals. The band shows a warm patina with some roughness under the edge near one end. The outer band shows either a partially obscured mark for sterling or a maker’s mark. It has an 8-inch inner circumference, and is 3/16 inch wide.

Cast as a lion's head and upper body, this ring is especially compelling for its intricate detail. The lion's mane continues from the head down to the ring's shoulder, and the tail rises from the band on the opposite side. It shows hardly any wear; the patina on the lower band suggests there is some age to the ring. The ring is unmarked and is sized to 6 ½; the lion's head measures about ¾ inch wide and ½ inch high.
