He is originally from the Washington DC area. His work is modern and cubist in respect to his use of jagged lines reminiscent of Clifford Still.

Vintage anonymous oil painting on canvas, "MISS CHI - 3-years old Toy Poodle, 1980". 41 x 31.7 x 2 cm (16.14 x 12.48 x 0.78in)...

Oil on canvas painting, signed at lower left "Charles T. Harris", late 20th century, the subject a red rock dramatic cliff of the Southwest, framed artistically by a large overhanging branch arching in from the right side. The work is very clean and ready to hang. This came from a local estate. The artist is talented but from what I can tell not listed. Size is 20" by 30" plus 2 1/2" wide on a side wood frame.

Unlike most commonly seen works by this artist, which are actually serigraph prints, this is an original oil on canvas painting, measuring 34" by 18" (unframed). The scene, which could be described as a floral fantasy, incorporating at least two human heads floating within the composition, is rather typical of the work of the artist, HERMANN DIETRICH (1916-2003). Dietrich's online profile has only in recent years become more developed...

The size of frame: 17" W x 21" H. The image area size: 10 1/2" x 14 3/4" x 1 1/2" Thick. The framed Original Ink and Watercolor painting on the paper. The subject of "Hawk and 3 Chicks" was done by artist signed, it read as MIKE DANTES. It is well executed ink and water color work by the artist. The work was done in very finely detail. The brown wood frame. The condition of work excellent. The frame in very good condition. Painting 20-30 years old. Market price $500.00.

Oil on canvas landscape of a red-painted fishing shack or summer cottage on an idyllic lake, other cottages in the distance, 15" by 18 1/2" (20" by 22 1/2" as framed), signed at lower right "K. Andor". I thought this scene perhaps Swedish, but the name Andor is Hungarian...

Watercolor on paper landscape of lush green mountains of Kauai, a mother and her child, palm trees and an historical one story building, the Waoli Social Hall, originally built in 1841 during whaling days as a mission church, the painting measuring 18 1/2" by 25" inside the present mat (presently unframed), signed at lower right "D Williams". The work is not dated but I would guess it would have been created around the late 1960's or early 1970's...

A watercolor with white gouache of a barn and another structure on an overcast, gray, snowy day, an old buckboard wagon at right center, the work signed below the mat GENE R DREW. I do not see a listing for the artist, who likely painted this around the year 1970 judging from the framing and non-glare type glass (which will be discarded before shipping). The piece, on Crescent art board, measures 18 3/4" by 25" inside the mat, and 25" by 31" in worn dark oak framing...

Small oil on canvas laid on board painting of a man in traditional outfit with distinctive hat. The mid 20th century work is signed illegibly at lower left corner. This would appear to be from Ecuador, or if not there, another Andean nation such as Peru or Bolivia. Measurements are 4" by 3 1/2" (7 1/2" by 7 1/4" as framed, with blue velvet liner). An interesting addition to a small wall or nook.

RUCKER (1932-2001). Rucker is recognized for his contributions to art of New Orleans, the lower Mississippi River valley, Louisiana, and the Old South...

This is a relatively earlier (1976 or before) work of the noted Bermudian artist ALFRED BIRDSEY (1912-1996). Birdsey was a familiar figure in Bermuda for decades, a prolific artist, the works of whom traveled with tourists when they returned from holidays. This would account for the wide distribution of his distinctive work. Today his daughter continues the family tradition, with similar looking paintings being sold to visitors. Birdsey worked in gouache or possibly oil or acrylic on paper...

Oil on canvas painting of a desert landscape, 18" by 24" (27" by 34" framed), signed at lower right by the listed California painter AILEEN POWERS STEPHENS (1889-1982). The artist also dedicated it to her daughter Helen, in July 1978, on the occasion of the latter's birthday, in an inscription on the reverse. Stephens was born in Kansas into an artistic family. She was related to the important 19th century American sculptor Hiram Powers...

Oil on canvas, 8" by 10" and 1" wide frame, the subject a classic plein air landscape of the low desert. It is signed "Geraldine" at lower right, and on reverse is the inscription "To Dad Happy Anniversary from Mom". The painter was talented but no doubt still an amateur. This is a pleasant decorative painting that is ready to hang on the wall.

Oil on canvas painting of the streets in the oft-painted Montmartre section of Paris, 18" by 24" (25" by 31" framed), signed at lower right by the noted well listed French naive artist LOUIS PEYRAT (1905-1999). This is a classic scene that reminds of Maurice Utrillo, who, I read online, was a cousin of Peyrat (one painting in the auction record featured as its subject matter Utrillo's house).
