This is a very old antique traditional still life of fruits, garlic, and a sliced melon, oil on old coarse weave canvas, laid on Masonite, 22" by 34 1/2" (25 1/2" by 38" in attractive old framing), apparently unsigned. The painting is of the very old traditional style of old master works of its kind. It would make for a fine accent piece in dining room or extended pantry or kitchen...

An excellent oil on canvas example of the painting of Spanish artist EDUARDO PISANO (1912-1986), measuring 25" by 21" (31" by 27" in silvery attractive framing/liner). Subject is a clown or other generalized comic figure with a lute/stringed instrument. A very appealing small forest interior painting on board, 9" by 11" (12" by 14" in modern day gold framing), unsigned on front but on reverse in old hand is written (difficult to decipher) "near XXX farm Hampstead Heath/Oct. 3 1908 5 PM/P. P. (XXXX)". The word after P.P. is the last name of the artist but it has defied my efforts to make it out. The scene is painted in luminous tan colors with light grayish green and cream here and there, all in a very impressionistic blond to silvery light...

Oil on canvas, circa late nineteenth century, 21 1/2" by 26 3/4" and about one inch wide framing, unsigned, featuring feathery trees, distant snowy mountains, a lake with small sail craft, and a gentleman pulling in nets on another small boat. This painting is in need of restoration, but, I believe it well worth saving for posterity. There are some holes, the largest about 3/4" by 1/2", at lower left, a similar one at upper left, and some much smaller punctures at far right...
