An original oil on canvas painting, circa 1970's, signed lower left by the noted American artist CHARLES BRAGG (1931-2017). The work measures 16" by 20" and is housed in a nice quality frame, measuring 23" by 27". Painting and frame are both in excellent condition. Bragg of course was a well-known, prolific artist best known via his hilarious prints. He was a commentator on the human condition, human frailties, and 20th century life...

Impressionist American landscape painting, late 20th century, 24" by 36", unframed, signed at lower right with what appears as "A. Ullman" or similar. The piece is by a competent artist who knew how to use color and work the paint. A Standard Brands 39 cent sticker for the canvas/stretcher remains affixed, giving some idea as to the age of the piece, perhaps 1960's or 1970's.

A PAIR of unframed oil on canvas works, one a scene of coastal cliffs and waves, 12" by 12", the other featuring a small lake or pond, 11" by 14" (both unframed). They are each signed by the artist, one M. Mahmoudi. I have not located information on the obviously talented artist, who is likely Californian; found in Los Angeles. Condition is excellent. What appear as white speckles in some images are reflections off the varnish and canvas weave.

Very large (36" by 23 1/2", 45" by 33" framed), decorative, attention-getting squarely Mid Century oil on canvas of two "Big Eye" children, painted in his usual whimsical fashion, by the French mid century impressionist artist ROGER ETIENNE (1922-2011). The painting is signed at lower left by the artist and dated there 1973...

Oil on masonite, circa late 1940's or early 1950's, 16 1/2" by 23 1/2" (22" by 31 1/2" as framed), signed at lower left by Pittsburgh artist PERRY DAVIS. This is a beautifully painted work by an obviously talented artist, although I have not to date found a listing on him. There's a label on the reverse of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh, 37th Annual Exhibition with the title, and artist's address. The painting has a strong WPA feeling to it...

A striking modernist work titled "Fantasia" and dated 1952, by Tucson Fine Arts Association member BESS WEST. The work , oil on canvasboard (18" by 14", and 18 1/2" by 22 1/2" in apparently original frame) is signed at lower right "B. WEST" and on reverse appears the title, artist name and date, and an original card from the Seventh Annual Independent Open Show in Tucson in 1953...

Small oil on canvasboard contemporary painting of high mountains in the western United States, or, possibly, Canada, unframed, 6" by 9", signed at lower left with what appears as "Wingsford", "Wingard" or similar. The painting is by a trained hand, the depth of the landscape and the majesty of the mountain captured with skill. The painting is in excellent condition.

Oil on board landscape, unsigned, the subject a panorama of red rock cliffs and distant butte, likely in Arizona, or possibly Utah, the scene framed by tree at right. The work has some age, a guess would place this circa 1955 to about 1965. Certainly it is good enough to have been painted by a listed artist. The condition is acceptably good...

Original oil painting on board by Michael Aloysius Sarisky (Ohio, 1906-1974), mid-century, in excellent condition, signed l.r. 31" by 28". Michael Sarisky is known as a WPA mural artist. Oil on panel, 12" by 9", unframed, signed at lower left "Brandon" or "Granlee"; hard to decipher, but the signature has a professional look to it. The work features flaming yellow aspen in fall, it would appear. Rapidly painted with highly impressionistic strokes, the work is complete. The sticker on back with 888 phone number indicates a date of execution after 1996. Put a standard size 12" by 9" frame around this and hang it on the wall.

A truly rare, quality painting of the Seattle waterfront's Pier 7, circa 1920's, signed lower left by noted Norwegian-American artist YNGVAR SONNICHSEN (1873-1938).
