There is an English artist by that name who is known for her portraits of people and animals, though I cannot tie this drawing to her...

This is a well-executed late 20th century watercolor painting of two teddy bears floating in a complex three dimensional space, with children's alphabet blocks, a teapot, and cups and saucers sharing that space. The work is signed actually twice, in gold paint, at lower right "Mieko". Measurements are 10 1/2" by 14 1/2" (16 3/4" by 21" in simple light wood frame). The drawing is colorful and whimsical and would enhance any child's room...

Watercolor on paper painting of a traditional Chinese junk near the shore of a reedy body of water, 15" by 11 1/2" (20 1/2" by 16 1/2" in simple blond wood look framing), signed at lower left in pencil with what appears to be the name "Tang". The transparent washes and deft handling make for a pleasing and calming image that is a fine alternative to a print. The work is affixed or pressed against the backing by the glass---there is not a proper mount.

This is a really pretty watercolor on heavy watercolor paper by an obvious talent, 14" by 20" (22 1/2" by 28 1/4" as framed), the subject picturesque boats tied up along the banks of an idyllic stretch of river, a boathouse at left and a few figures completing the impressionist composition. The work's varieties of impressionistic blues are quite lovely, and there is simply excellent handling of color and light. The only fault, really, is that the artist did not sign the piece...

A Fine Korean Orchid/Rock (石蘭) scroll painting by 의제(毅齋), 허백련 ((許百鍊 1891∼1977): Korea Ink stroke with orchid flowers and rock painted on Paper, with description on the upper right and signed with red square seal, 의제(毅齋), it’s in good condition but having some area creased, it measures 39cm x 124.5cm painting only. 52cm x 182.5cm overall.

Good representation in the style of Lin Rongqian’s cursive calligraphy, as a Mandarin: Fu Lu/Cantonese: Fuk. This is a gift given to someone to congratulate them and wish them financial success in their career. This is a scroll mounted painted meant to be hung horizontally. There are small tabs in the upper side with which to do so. Mounted- L: 150cm/59in and W: 60cm/23in.

“Prospect Park” Watercolor on paper 14” x 21” Boog was born on June 27, l877 in Luzern, Switzerland and was brought to New York as a child. In the early twentieth century, he attended Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Returning to the U.S. he settled in Brooklyn, N.Y. near Prospect Park, the site of many of his paintings and sketches. A nicely painted and tranquil signed watercolour of a sailboat on a lake with islands and distant mountains c1920s. This 7-1/8" x 4-1/2" sight size picture is in what appears to be the original gilt and painted wood embossed 10-1/4" x 7-1/2" frame with a gold mat. It is signed L. Livingston (unidentified), and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, fading, tears, staining, foxing, losses, damage or repairs...

Orlando Norie (1832–1901), artist of military subjects, perhaps the most prolific painter of the British army in the 19th century along with Richard Simkin. It has been estimated that Norie alone painted well over 5,000 pictures. Although his family were of Scottish descent, they had moved to the continent, and Orlando was born in Bruges, Belgium on 15 January 1832...

The paper is loose under the mat and has slipped, as photos of corner/edges show. Re-set in proper position and enjoy this well-executed piece.

LARRI". I do not see a listing by this name but he/she worked squarely in the tradition of 19th century Italian watercolor art. The piece was in a nondescript frame when found, and backed by curling old acidic wood. I have removed it from the frame for photography...

Fine old marine art drawing, in compromised condition, as found in Rhode Island, unframed, 13" by 19 1/2", signed at lower left corner "F R Smith". This is almost certainly by late 19th century American artist F. ROLLIN SMITH, who painted watercolors and oils of marine scenes. Little seems to be known of the artist but works do appear at auction. This drawing is a survivor, found in a portfolio of drawings in Providence, Rhode Island.
