Oil on canvas laid against panel, 10 1/2" by 13 1/2" (14" by 17" framed), signed at lower right by mid-century artist A. R. NOULIN. The beautifully painted little work reminds of Maurice Utrillo's 1920's paintings of the famed quarter around Sacre Coeur's white church. The shutters on all the buildings, the other details, all so nicely crafted. There are three tiny figures in the street. The painting is on a coarse weave canvas and is laid against a panel (not laid down onto it permanently)....

Large contemporary Haitian painting with an enormous amount of detail and pleasing color, 31 1/2" by 23 1/2" (37 1/2" by 29" in shiny black plastic framing), signed at lower right by artist Felden Lafleur. Take some time to study the images, filled with amazing intricacies that must have taken days to create. The work is in excellent, unusually fresh condition; frame has some wear.

This is a nicely executed watercolor of a cathedral on the banks of a river, identified by an old pencil inscription on the reverse as "At Mantes on the Seine".
