An impressively large color print of the year 1977, titled appropriately "Boat", pencil signed at lower right and dated there, and numbered 23/150 at lower left, by the noted, Japanese-born artist KENZO OKADA (1902-1982). The print, 27 1/2" by 34" inside the mat (36" by 42" in attractive and complementary quality silvery frame) is decidedly modern but the imagery has its root in Asian and specifically Japanese art. Okada was born in Yokohama to a privileged background...

Original woodcut circa 1930's, the subject a man working machinery in an urban setting with high rise buildings, stamped at lower right margin with the estate stamp of American artist IRVING GEORGE LEHMAN (1900-1983). The work is unframed and currently housed in a mat, and is taped at extreme top edge in two places, to that mat. There is a roughly rectangular pressed-in area of the paper at lower left and some wrinkling of the extremely delicate thin paper at bottom...

Etching with color possibly hand-applied, 9" by 8 1/2" as framed, unsigned, by important French 20th century artist MARIE LAURENCIN (1885-1956). From having checked the 1981 catalog raisonne by Daniel Marchesseau, I have determined that the most official title of this work is "Fillette aux Yeux Vertes" ("Young Girl with Green Eyes", although a number of other titles are in common usage for this essually popular print)...

The title of this work is: La Blanchisseuse (The Laundress) This image was created and printed in 1922. It is pencil signed by the artist and numbered as 40/72 in the lower right border. This image measures 15 1/2X11 1/2 inches, hand signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right border. This drypoint is housed in a Foster Brothers period gilt frame.. Madeleine Chéruit was one of the most fashionable French dressmakers of her time. Her house of courture took inspiration from the Belle Epoque through to the Jazz Age...

Frank Benson 1862-1951 American This is an original drypoint etching by American artist Frank Benson. The title is: The Bridge, it measures 13 1/2X10 5/8 inches. Hand signed in pencil lower right. This drypoint was created and printed in 1923, printed on a Whatman watermarked laid type paper. This etching was printed in an edition of 150 proofs. It appears in the Ordeman catalog as image number 227. A fine rich impression with plate tone used in the printing of this impression.

Doel Reed 1894-1985 American Southwest This is an original aquatint etching by American artist Doel Reed. This image was created and printed in 1941 in an edition of 100. This was originally sold through Associated American Artists in New York. The image measures 8 15/16X14 7/8 inches. Pencil signed lower right.

Jean Emile Laboureur 1887-1943 French This is an original engraving by French artist Jean Emile Laboureur. This engraving was created and printed in 1920. One of 6 pencil signed impressions prior to publication in L'Architectures in an edition of 500 unsigned impressions. The image measures 11 5/8X8 1/8 inches. Hand signed in pencil lower left. Very nicely framed with a linen matting. This is one of his largest images done in his distinctly cubist style.

A pair of pencil signed color reproduction prints of classic wildflowers of Colorado, identically framed and of the same size, 10 1/2" by 8 1/2" as framed, both signed in pencil by the artist at lower right margin, and titled at left "Colorado Columbine" and "Wood Lily". Byxbe is a popular artist closely associated with Colorado's high country. Born in Illinois, he was showed early talent, studying etching in Nebraska. By 1938 he had moved to Estes Park, Colorado...
