A Rare Japanese Album Leaf Prints by Toyokuni Kunisa

14 full set of Japanese album leaf prints (10 triptych and 4 double leaf prints).A part of one triptych prit might be missed. It is in fine condition without any typical damages, and its measurements are 14" x 9 7/8" for each page.
In 1966 Haku Maki produced one of his many abstract series. He did Cell and he did Proportion Here I show Proportion 10 the white strokes appear against a beautiful yellow background . Above the strokes is a white Sun. Wow there are two Maki seals one at the top right and another at the lower left There is a red splash in the center .two images f Proportion 9 are added where are Proportion 1 through 8? 43/50

¡°The two adversaries (left)¡± and ¡°The two adversaries (right)¡± were published 5 December,1950. The carver was Maeda; the printers were Honda, Uchikawa and Onodera. Both have Paul Jacoulet¡¯s pencil signature and red Arrow seal on the lower corner. They are in excellent condition.

¡°Hokkan ¨C Mountains, Seoul, Korea¡± was published 6 December, 1937. The carver was Maeda; the printer was Honda. It has Paul Jacoulet¡¯s pencil signature and red Tea Jar seal on the lower right corner. It has great color; margins and edges are slightly toned. It is in very good condition.
This Maki print has had a charmed existence. It was printed in Japan in the mid-70s, just as Maki was beginning to leave the production of prints with kanji as the main theme and start doing then with Ceramics, mainly in the Collection series. This is the second print of his long ceramics series – some of which were simply entitled as this is with the year 75-59. This was done in 1975 and was a quite large edition 201...

Haku Maki was one of the grand masters of the Sosaku-hanga print movement. Maki Haku (1924-2000) is the artistic name of Maejima Tadaaki, who was born in Ibaraki Prefecture.
