Original intaglio by Wendell H. Black (American, 1919-1972). First edition, and a rare example of a work actually printed and signed by the artist (This first edition was later completed posthumously by Berkley Chappell.) Titled "S/P '50-'55" lower left, numbered 4/25 center, and signed W. Black '55 lower right. In a period mid-century frame. 22 by 15 image alone, 33 by 24 in the frame. Provenance available.

Original oversized woodcut by Wendell H. Black (USA, 1919-1972). Titled "Artist and Model-Spring II" 7/25. Signed and Dated l.r. "Wendell Black 58 by Elaine". Two fine engravings of Mount Vernon, and the White House, each framed and measuring 6 3/4" by 8 3/4". These appear to be the same images that have appeared on US currency in the past, and the very high quality type of printing (intaglio?) is the same process. These were produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, either as printing proofs, or perhaps as official souvenirs to be sold in a gift shop setting----the Bureau's name is printed at the bottom of each...

Original woodblock print by Kiyoshi Saito. This work is titled "Maiko Kyoto (A)", signed in pencil and on the image, dated 1959, and numbered 34/100. In good condition. Framed but can be sold without the frame.

A PAIR of lithographs, one of a male, another of a woman, the larger work 24" by 17 3/4" inside the mat (28 1/2" by 22 1/4" framed), the other 19" by 16 3/4" (23 1/2" by 21" framed), both signed in Hebrew in the plate, the larger print numbered 1/50 at lower left in pencil. The works are in black ink though the larger piece exhibits faint blue in the background and light red in the cap. The larger piece has two short edge tears, one at upper left (about 2"), the other at top (about 3/4").

A true lithograph, possibly titled "Litografia VI", 9 1/2" by 12 1/2" inside the mat, 12 1/2" by 15 1/2" including the mat, unframed, by the famous Spanish modern artist who needs little introduction, JOAN MIRO (1893-1983). I do not know when this was produced or if the edition was limited. The mat is permanently glued down over the work, which is also apparently permanently affixed to the foamboard backing. Colors are very bright...

A fine 20th C. print variously titled Red Fuji; Fine Wind; Clear Weather, and Gaifû kaisei, originally create by Japanese wood block artist Katsushika Hokusai, c. 1830 as part of the monumental 36 Views of Mount Fuji. Although this print has not been examined outside of its frame, it appears to be in superb condition with bright vivid color...

Nicely framed. Numbered 230 on the right hand corner. Framed measurements 20-3/4" X 13-1/2"

Original Japanese woodblock print by 20th century master Jun'Ichiro Sekino (1914-1988) circa 1950s. Unusual column format (roughly 28" by 10" paper, 21" by 5" image), extremely unusual subject, signed "J. Sekino" in pencil lower right and numbered 67/100 lower left. In its original frame, not examined out of the frame but apparently in excellent condition. Sekino's woodblocks are found in the collections of most important art museums, including MOMA and the Art Institute of Chicago.

Born in Shanghai, he moved to Hong Kong when he was young and began photographing candid images of urban life with his Brownie camera.
