Old print of what I believe are camellias, 10 1/2" by 8 1/2" inside the mat with hand-drawn outlines, 15 1/4" by 13" in what is now (but might not have been originally) a convincingly distressed gold frame, with hand coloring delicately applied. At upper right near the mat is "Pl." and a number so this was no doubt a plate from a book on botany. The item was probably framed in the early 1960's. James Abbott McNeill Whistler 1834-1903 American This is a fine impression of the well known Whistler etching, Rotherhithe, It was created in 1860 as part of his Thames Set, published as a portfolio in 1871. Jean Baptiste Camille Corot 1796-1875 French This is a fine rich impression of the well known Corot etching Souvenir of Italy, this was first created in 1863, and printed in three states, including later ones with the publishers information at the bottom edge of the sheet. This one does not have that so may be an earlier or possibly later impression. The image measures 12 9/16X9 3/8 inches, printed on an antique laid type paper. Very fine condition, matted not framed...

Felix Bracquemond, French, 1833-1914, "Canards Surpris", etching, plate measures 13 3/4 x 10 3/8 inches in a gold colored 21 x 17 inch frame. Drypoint etching. Catalog: Beraldi 778. C. 1882. A very detailed etching with meticulous linework and a unique composition. Initialed in ink in the lower left, pencil signed in the lower right.

**SET OF 4** The French fashion and costume magazine "La Mode Illustree" operated from about 1859 through at least the 1920's, featuring the styles of the day. This is a set of four fine engravings, circa 1875 or 1880, judging from the fashion depicted. All are hand colored. Size as framed 15 1/2" by 12 3/4" (one without glass, which had shattered). The framing stained oak. The prints are very clean inside the mats...

Jean Louis Forain 1852-1931 French This is a very rare original drypoint etching by French artist Jean-Louis Forain, the title is C'est Fini, this drypoint was created and printed circa 1890, there was a later Verticle composition with the same name. This image measures 9 1/2X12 inches. Printed on a medium weight laid type sheet,. Weve been unable to find another example of this scarce drypoint. Hand signed in pencil lower right.

Hand signed in pencil by the artist. The image measures 6 1/2X9 1/2 inches. This imag appears in the Wuerth catalog as image number 114. Printed on a medium weight wove type sheet. Chelsea Bridge is a bridge over the River Thames in west London.
