Pencil signed lithograph of a street scene in Portugal or France, including balconies and numerous figures walking the cobblestone streets, commonly titled "Trois Femmes au Balcon", numbered 98/100 at lower left margin, and signed at lower right by the noted Portuguese artist FRANCIS SMITH (1881-1961). Smith was born in Lisbon, moved to Paris while young, and became a French citizen in 1911...

A fine example of one of the 58 images from the famous "Miserere" series of prints by famous French artist GEORGES ROUAULT (1871-1958), this being plate number 3, "Toujours Flagelle" ("Forever Scourged"), dated 1922, printed in 1927 in an edition of 425, and finally actually published after the war in 1948...

A mid 20th century lithograph by Mourlot after the original 1891 famous lithograph poster produced by HENRI de TOULOUSE-LAUTREC (1864-1901) "La Goulue", which served as early advertising for the-then new Moulin Rouge nightclub in Montmartre. The original very large poster, Lautrec's first attempt at lithography, was plastered all over Paris. Only 3,000 copies were printed and the surviving examples are very rare and valuable today (one achieved $500,000 at auction)...

Yasuo Kuniyoshi 1893-1953 Japanese /American This is an original lithograph created by Japanese American artist Yasuo Kuniyoshi. The title is Burlesque Queen, it was created and printed in 1936 for the American Artists School in New York City. It was created in an edition of 100. The image measures 11 5/8X9 1/2 inches. This image is plate signed as issued, it is inscribed in pencil lower left "100 prints"...

An example of the circa 1870's Currier and Ives American lithograph "Summer in the Woods", 11 3/4" by 16" inside the mat, 17 1/4" by 21 1/4" as framed. The print is in good antique condition (not examined out of frame) with a faint damp stain at upper left margin and some foxing and slight discolorations at lower area...

A PAIR of very clean French artist 19th century etchings, the subject of both upper class women, one by CHARLES WALTNER (1846-1925), the second by ERNEST JOSEPH LAURENT (1859-1929). They are also very nicely (identically) framed in tasteful black and silvery framing, including silk mat and inner fillet; the frames also in excellent condition. The combination of art and quality framing makes for a most handsome decorative addition to your traditional interior...

HESTON (1923-2018) was for 64 years the wife of the famous American actor, but was an independent woman who carved her own path despite being in the shadow of one of America's most famous faces of the 20th century...

A group of THREE 19th century English botanical prints, two framed identically in gold with closed corners, the third framed in a different gold frame with beading. The matching pair measure 19 1/2" by 17 1/2" in the frames; the final piece slightly smaller at 19" by 16". The print in that latter piece, by artist Fitch, has horizontal creases, one sharp; the year "1846" is written in pencil at bottom edge...

Leon Bakst, Russian 1866-1924, was an artist famous for his watercolor costume drawings of the Ballet Russe of Paris France. Many we have feature Vaslav Najinsky who is considered the greatest dancer of classical ballet. The drawings are all original with watercolor and gouache and pencil notations and signed. They are from a private collection that was in the owners family for many, many years. They are priced at $2,500. Each

A small etching of one of the classic old buildings of America's oldest coastal cities, perhaps New Orleans or Charleston South Carolina, titled "Street Cart", numbered 91/150 and signed "Godzala" or similar. The etching measures 3 3/4" by 2 1/2" inside the mat and 10 1/4" by 8 1/4" in the silver metal frame. Condition is excellent. The piece likely dates to the 1990's through present. I do not see an obvious artist that would correspond with the name.

Edmund Blampied 1886-1966 British This is an original drypoint etching by British artist Edmund Blampied. The title is: Village News. This etching was created and printed in 1931. It is signed in sepia ink lower border and has the edition noted as 16/100. The image measures 8 3/4X12 inches. "Edmund Blampied (1886-1966) was one of the most eminent artists to come from the Channel Islands, yet he received no formal training in art until he was 16 years old...

A circa 1930 colorful, beautiful, accomplished woodblock print of a Christmas cactus, by Austrian-born artist HUGO NOSKE (1886-1960). Noske was born in Vienna and was a very talented artist, perhaps best known today for the technically accomplished, wonderful woodblock prints of floral subjects, often specifically cacti or Christmas cacti, on tissue-like Japan paper. This is one of those prints. Measurements are 12" by 13 1/8"...

A group of three etchings of New York City subject matter, each pencil signed and titled by the artist LEON LOUIS DOLICE (1892-1960). The three titles are "Fish Market", "Metropolitan Tower", and "NJ Waterfront". "Metropolitan Tower" is the largest, the printed area measuring 10 1/4" by 7 1/4"; the other two are 7 1/2" by 6" (printed area). Interestingly the prints are all printed off-center or otherwise at irregular angles on the sheets...

Undoubtedly a New England vignette, it resonates with Americ...
